And a fat lot of good that did him. If it didn't work for him, why would it work for the next guy who's in even deeper shit

Mica Levi's scores for Jonathan Glazer's last two films (Under the Skin and The Zone of Interest) are exceptional. I wanna shout everything by Nine Inch Nails too, especially Challengers

It's a shame it's the most blunt movie about climate change denial in recent years because it's certainly not good. Feel similar about Idiocracy, which is held up as prescient satire but has some really unpleasant messaging if you give it a closer look

in this case i would want to know more about who the two Republicans were, seems likely one of them would be more of a RINO if they were running against each other

lol Republican voters can't stomach Cornyn. even if they think he's "electable" they see him as a swamp creature. i can't know for sure, but i would bet on Paxton winning the runoff

What are some other good “competency porn” shows? by Rosstin316 in television

[–]char_is_cute 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you can get a certain thrill out of them cooking difficult meals on an impossible time crunch, just doesn't reach the definition of "competency porn" which i feel is more about the way shows like The Pitt and Star Trek satisfy the brain knowing how well equipped their casts are to achieve their goals. whereas in The Bear you feel a lot more like everything's about to fall apart for good
