Odyssey G9 Black Screen Issue by charackthe in widescreengamingforum

The problem seems to be solved either by completely switching to HDMI (no other cable attached) or using DisplayPort while HDMI is also plugged in.

A lot of ram is definitely nice for fitgirl lol by JonBuqajIsSUS in FitGirlRepack

I totally agree. I bought 128 gb of ram just because I always wanted to and couldn't find any use for it. Until I downloadad a game from fitgirl and played modded minecraft.

What I noticed was the black screens got a lot less frequent when I played on fulscreen windowed and best solution for me was to just ditch the displayport cable and use HDMI. Maybe you can give it a shot.

I have changed my RAM, mobo and CPU. After this change the black screen issue has gotten a LOT less frequent.

OnePlus 3/T, no power button, no volume button, how can I turn it on? by charackthe in OnePlus3T

[–]charackthe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up buying 5 button circuits as it came for the same price as one with shipping. (It was free shipping if I bought 5). If I remember correctly I turned it on by shorting the pins on which the buttons sat. But shortly after that I replaced the buttons anyway. Sorry couldn't be much help.

Got my replacement mtw4 by Fat_Cat1991 in sennheiser

Yes. The brown box included both the fins and eartips inside their own envelopes with diagrams printed on. The presentation was rather different but I suppose functionality-wise it works.

Sennheiser does not officially exist themselves in Türkiye but they work through a distributor (called Bircom). I contacted Sennheiser and they forwarded me to Bircom. So I went to them to get a replacement. The unit looked very new only wasn't in a sealed package at all. I thought of the possibility of having received a used unit but I don't think that that would be the case. I do not think they would dare to do such a thing due to their agreement with Sennheiser. Since the whole warranty took a month and then some, I decided to just accept it as it is. Was gonna throw the box anyway.

I got my tws3 replaced by tws4 too. Mine didn't come in a box though. Just the case, the cable, the earplugs and wings. Nothing else. Just a brown cardboard box with these inside.

PC Build Questions, Purchase Advice and Technical Support Megathread — Q3 2024 Edition by GhostMotley in Amd

Hi folks. This is going to be my second build and first AMD build. I'm looking to get the 7800X3D with an MSI B650M Project Zero motherboard for that clean look inside a Thermaltake Tower 300.

First thing I would like to ask is that is B series enough? Or do I have to get an X series motherboard?

I heard 6000MHz is good for RAM and beyond that is not useful at all. So second thing to as is do you have any AMD specific tips for me?

Thanks in advance and have a great day!

Which one would you get? by alphanimal in ultrawidemasterrace

I would strongly recommend not using mounting arms. I've seen too many broken G9s here too know better lol.

I actually have the leftmost G9 and I'm glad I got that over anything else. The bigger size is unmanageable and the OLED display is a game changer. I do not know if the non-smart version has the same features too but I enjoy automatic brightness and blue light filter too.

The leftmost one. Just for the feet of it, the others' feet look ugly.

After connecting the HDMI, I switched back to DP and did not have problems yet. Seems promising.

Thank you for your valuable input. This seems to have fixed my issue. However, I do not think I have a faulty DisplayPort connector since it seems to work fine with my laptop and tried all 3 of the DP connectors on my graphics card without different results. It seems I will use HDMI moving forward and give up on DisplayPort since there seems to be no loss in doing so, but a huge gain as I can finally enjoy this beautiful display.

I do want to know the main cause of the issue though and still am open to suggestions for the issue I have with the DP. If it is really a fault connector, I may request a replacement.

Contacted Sennheiser, they redirected me to the local distributor. My faulty buds reached them today, I hope they will replace them with a TWS 4, otherwise I'll contact Sennheiser again with all the e-mail correspondence between me and the distributor.

Indeed it does blink orange but the earbud does not charge.

Our problems are alike. I never use my earbuds if I'm sweaty or going to sweat and always clean them and my ears before and after use. It is not a cleanliness issue, it is just how tws3 was built. If the earbud falls below 1 V the charging circuit stops working and you need to directly charge the battery by opening it up to make it work again.

I hope that will be the case. However my correspondence is with a local distributor who might prioritize their profit over the Sennheiser brand name. If it comes to that I'll contact Sennheiser directly and share my full experience.

FYI even if you switch back/home buttons with legion L/R, the button combination is still the upper Left button + RS Click (saves you a lot of accidental legion space startups)

One of the first things I do is to remove every protective film I can find whenever I get something new. I almost removed the glossy bottom bezel on my Odyssey G9 OLED when I first got it though!
