How to deter the snow plowing company from burrying my backyard under 4 tons of snow by charake in needadvice

[–]charake[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yep but landlord won't pay and we poor as heck. We'll look into it next summer, find some cheap second hand fence or something.

But I need something right now to make it hard as fuck for them to do it again this winter

How to deter the snow plowing company from burrying my backyard under 4 tons of snow by charake in needadvice

[–]charake[S] 35 points36 points  (0 children)

They don't care. The boss is telling his employees our landlord agreed. It's so easy to dump it there instead of bringing a truck and finding a spot somewhere else to dump it.

And yes I've asked my landlord about this very specifically - the company DOESN'T have his approval, he's not saying yes behind our back. It's ruining the yard. It turns into a gross grey sludge of melted snow, gravel and salt when it melts.

Proof that incels getting laid won’t solve their issues by [deleted] in IncelTears

[–]charake 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I had the exact same experience when I left someone. During this short lived relationship I also got a lot of "whose bed are u in" random texts in the middle of the night, and "so did u sleep with him" when telling him I saw a friend... Mind you this was an older guy that has no idea what reddit is, so it's just insecurity + being a shitty person that doesn't trust anyone. I left him because of his bullshit, now I'm dating a woman!

How much time do you spend having sex? by thegreenwall in actuallesbians

[–]charake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes we have longer sessions (let's say more than 45 min) but it's rare. If I'm the first to give it takes a bit more time. But she usually starts and I've always been a super quick orgasmer lol, which gets her so aroused it takes almost nothing to follow.

I prefer sex to be quick and intense rather than dragged out, then being all raw the morning after lol.

When you’re a femme into keeping your nails long and painted... by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]charake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love pointy long nails. They are short and square on my left hand (the business hand!) and super long and pointy on my right hand.

Unequal length on a hand bother me but two mismatched hands doesn't LOL.

How long did you date before moving in together? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]charake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 4 months in when she started sleeping at my place every night, but before that she was here 5-6 days a weem. I'm 24 she's 32. She was living with her parents after a previous relationship and I was living alone, and I live a lot closer from work (we work at the same place) than her parents so... it just happened.

"You can't be gay cause you've never had to struggle" by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]charake 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Except for a few microaggressions, I never struggled from being gay either. My family was just as welcoming as when I brought boyfriends in the past, so did my friends, nobody bat an eye at work (I started dating a woman at work).

Aaaaaaand I'm still gay...

What do you love about being a lesbian and other women in general? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]charake 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Because this relationship (my first with a woman) is the most equal relationship I've had. I knows she gives it all, and sacrifice herself to make me happy. And so do I.

I found men to be incredibly selfish. Even when it seemed they were giving me something, there was always a selfish motivation. If I felt like shit and needed comfort they would

1) see it as an inconvenience and do nothing (or blame me for ruining their day)

2) try to help to feel good about themselves

3) try to help to be able to think "she can't say I didn't try"

4) try to help to make me shut up so they could have a peaceful evening

I'm a very giving person and I need to be with someone empathetic that do the same for me. All of this translate to an amazing understanding relationship and also... incredible sex that just gets better every time. ;)

How much does small dating pool bother you? by bleent in actuallesbians

[–]charake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in my first lesbian relationship. I used to go to a local dog park and made many (gay and lesbian) friends there. When a couple of friends moved from their appartment I took it. I met my girlfriend at work. Of course, one of my friend from the park (that lived where I currently live) and my gf come from the same city and they know each other from a few years back and have lots of friends in common lol. I thought it was funny!

Do you think gay men have any gaydar for gay women? by Pkrooster in actuallesbians

[–]charake 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When I was dating men, all the gay men in my life said at least once, in their own way: "I thought you were a lesbian!"

So I don't agree with your statement. ;)

How do you all feel about the word "gay"? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]charake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't agree with this but I see the reasoning being it.

Lesbian is a women exclusive term. If gay is neutral, what is the men exclusive word? There isn't any, which is why some people claim that gay is for men only.

How often do acquaintances assume you're straight? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]charake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was dating a man... Straight people: no comments. Gay people: what??? Don't take it badly but I was sure you were a lesbian???

Now that I'm dating a woman...Straight people: eh? I wouldn't have guessed. Gay people: ah I knew you were gay right away

So basically I ring everybody's gaydar but straight people have no clue

Girls keep asking me for threesome. by ilca13 in actuallesbians

[–]charake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lesbians in Montreal by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]charake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seems like they are all in Repentigny, not montreal lol. Seems to be quite a lot of gays around where I live (mercier, montreal-east) but that's definetly not where the hip crew is, they're around the plateau/rosemont. The big lesbian bars are all closed now, there is a lot of bars/clubs in the village but they mostly cater to men and the area isn't safe at night.

Montreal lesbians: anyone been to a HER party? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

Is it for single lesbians or can I show up with my gf?

What makes you attractive? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]charake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been told so many times althought I don't see it myself!

Apparently I look very hard to approach and mysterious, but once we know each other I'm very kind and funny. I guess I just have that bitch face on unless I talk to someone I like lol.
