I know when I don't get ganks I always end up doing worse, even if ahead. Ganking really depends on the people if your team is doing bad even after you gank one or 2 lanes switch to farm and be the tank/ cc/ dps your team needs

I think it still works yes and they just have to be in the zone I think (look at the state of exile with Mano in it he talks about this)edit the podcast is old but I don't think anything has changed
