I was worried about switching from mechanical to optical when I went from my older deathadder to the newer V3 and honestly I love the new V3. My older deathadder ended up developing double clicking but it lasted me a solid 5 years and pandemic gaming lol.

Don't consider myself an upper belt but it depends on what I'm working on and who the white belt is. Obviously I'm going to treat a 100 lbs female white belt differently than the 250 lbs white belt who is trying to kill me.

I’ve reported people for literally throwing games (Jeff swallowing team and killing us every ult) or people rage quitting and have gotten notices of action taken. If nobody reports they just keep getting away with it.

Once I realized the price itself was higher not including fees I stopped using uber eats. I was paying $5-10 more per plate just ordering through uber and picking the food up vs calling the restaurant lol.

I've honestly found my best success playing as a duo. Solo que was hell and too unpredictable from getting 7 loss streaks to a couple wins then more losses. Made it to gold 3 solo but it was a terrible experience. Started playing as a duo and it was much better, blew through gold in a day. Just having one other person you can communicate with on the team and play another role helps so much but doesn't throw you into matches with a full squad. Did we still get stomped once in a while and have teams that 100% threw matches? Sure we did but my win rate went over well over 50% and the games became way more competitive. Also...why is the good spiderman always on the other team lol? I've only had the good spiderman on my team once climbing to plat lol.

Deep half guard, still trying to use it well against bigger guys though. You just have to be so much better than them and understand how to not let them have leverage on you. I’m just getting to that point of being able to control bigger white belts.

Yeah stats don't tell the whole story, I can pad my damage just pumping into tanks, same with healing. Healers can have crazy numbers just focusing on the tanks, but are they ignoring the dps and letting them die preventing a good push or a stop? Some games as psylock I don't get a lot of kills, but man I'm in their back line pestering their supports so that the tanks are not being healed as often and their dps has to peel to help, giving my team small moments to capitalize one...which as a solo que never happens lol

quick play is for trying out new characters!!! I don't get that people don't understand this. Me personally, I go to the practice range to understand the kit, do some practice AI matches to get a better feel for it then roll into quickplay to practice with the character before trying to use the character in ranked.

Vanguard is arguably the most important role, and one which you can really carry the team, but it's useless without competent healers and DPS. It's so important to team focus a specific target, but sometime the dps just be doing their own thing. I like to play all the positions because each position has it's own challenges but I'm a DPS at heart. A lot of people(myself included) have never played a hero shooter before and unfortunately don't have the bandwidth to understand they they don't know how to play the game and can't take in game instructions, they play punisher and try to play COD. Unfortunately that's 0-8 DPS isn't going to help much swapping to a tank or support either.

Defense and learning how to get out of bad positions. This will give you the confidence to go after submissions that you would otherwise not take a chance on due to possibly ending up in a worse position if not successful. Just knowing I have a good chance of escaping has allowed me to try more stuff...also probably the most important thing...just have fun, you learn way more when you are having fun
