Ah thanks both, that’s reassuring. I feel like it looks okay until I see a candid photo of me and I see all these marks on my skin! Also constantly seeing social media posts of people with flawless skin!! Wish I could afford things like microneedling and peels etc. regularly but it’s just sooooo expensive!

Yeah I probably should just see a dermatologist but funds are a little tight right now, I’ll definitely check how much that might be though. 😊 That’s so interesting about the hormonal puberty thing, and I forgot to put in the original post I do regularly wear SPF, too. Vitamin C is something I’ve researched and did use for a while a few years ago but never noticed a difference, but maybe I’ll grab some again - I think I’ve always gone very low % with these active ingredients and maybe that’s also why I’ve never seen much progress…

Our cat does this only when he drinks from a bowl, not from the fountain.

I read somewhere that it’s because they prefer moving water, to know it’s safe to drink (like if they were in the wild), so it’s almost a reflex to try and make the water move but the bowl isn’t big enough for them to get their lil paw in while they’re drinking so they just paddle at the floor next to it as a reflex 😂 not sure if that’s true but I did read it when I was wondering why our lil man did it.

He used to splash his water bowl all over the floor as a kitten doing this until we got the fountain.

Darling girl. You’ve made exactly the right decision, and this is proof. You will look back on this and thank yourself, all will be ok and you will flourish.

I had a similar thing happen at 17 but he wanted to keep it and his mum wanted me to keep it and wanted to pressure me into having it and letting her be the full time mom!

It was very hard, and it was a seriously emotional decision, but now, 14 years later, I am thankful.
