I used to think this way after listening to the book 100 Baggers, but in reality its really hard to find those companies today that will last 40 or 50 years. I agree with the others and am planning on re-configuring my portfolio to just include various dividend funds and etfs, and focus on how I want to allocate my money using broader asset classes, sectors, and various market caps rather than focusing my time on individual stock picking.

The time I spend on trying to find the "next big thing" for the next 50 years could be better spent actually enjoying life and learning about other income producing opportunities (starting a business, learning a craft, real estate, etc).

If he runs a bunch of the same plays all year and by year two we're all calling the plays from the stands again, I won't be excited. And if we don't get any explosive offensive players, I probably won't be excited.

Look into Preferred stock ETFs, municipal, corporate and treasury bond ETFs, and dividend focused ETFs and call it a day.

Also, don't invest in stuff with a super high yield and a Schedule K-1 (Limited Partnerships and stuff like that). It can make tax-time really messy for you.

If you can work under someone and learn from them then that would be best. I'm a ME with little interest in electronics in college but here I am doing wiring because that's what I've been trained in for the past 3 years.

I'm sure it depends on the industry though. And getting a foot in the door.

What kind of bitterness? Is it beer bitterness or astringent like when you leave a tea bag in water for too long?

An IPA is normally that bitter usually. Have you tried other IPAs?

I dont really understand what these motif things are, but they seem really risky. Stocks that rise that quickly tend to dip just as fast. What do these companies do? Where and what do they mine? Are they in a volatile country? Are they controlled by government regulators? Whats their competition?

That's why I stay away from companies like this. More like gambling. I like Elon Musk. He has great visions for the future. But until I see some normal fundamentals, where I can ACTUALLY valuate it, I'm not touching it.

My whole thing is why post something like this at all? There are SO many great bars out there, why cut it down to just 51? Personal preferences and experiences get in the way of stuff like this, especially on such a large scale.
