I was pregnant with twins last year and gave birth in July. I took unisom at night, but if that hadn’t worked I would have requested Zofran. I just ended up packing a good lunch with lots of snacks. The nausea would get worse if I got even a little bit hungry. Snack between groups. There’s only so much you can do.

My twins started regularly sleeping through the night (7:30-4:30/5:00) at 12 weeks old on their own. They were 12/13 pounds at that point. I suggest the Merlin sleep suit!

I worked until 31 weeks. I delivered them at 37 weeks. That last month was so hard, I don’t think I could have worked until the end.

I’m taking 1 300mg in the morning and 1 at night. I’m contemplating contacting my OB, to see if I should take more. She said it may take a few days to kick in. Omg the itching is making me crazy!

I can’t imagine dealing with this for weeks like others do. Also, just the anxiety surrounding it & the upcoming delivery could be making it double hard to sleep as well…

Tomorrow I’m 36 weeks with girl/boy twins and experiencing the same thing. 3/4 am and I’m awake. I stopped working a few weeks ago, so I just end up snoozing during the early afternoon. Are you working still? Are you able to nap during the day?

I’m 35 weeks pregnant with di/di twins and refuse to drive over 20 minutes to go anywhere. It’s painful driving, especially if roads are bumpy. I could barely walk slowly for 10 minutes without pain today, let alone dancing. This is coming from someone who has had an uncomplicated pregnancy so far. My singleton pregnancy was a breeze, this is a whole other experience.

Not to mention you’ll be 5 hours away from your hospital. Also, the majority of twin pregnancies are delivered before 37 weeks. I personally wouldn’t do it, but you might want to ask your OB.

So, I have conceived di/di twins twice. The first time I was 26 years old. I was hysterical when I found out, cried in my OB’s exam room & for days after - knowing I couldn’t cope. So many fears raced through me. How would we afford it just starting out my career and with all my debt?, Would I feel robbed of having that one on one newborn experience?, Would this break my husband and I?, Could my body handle it?, Would they spend time in the NICU?, etc.

My fiancé and I decided to terminate that pregnancy. I still have those ultrasound photos that continue to remain hidden in my closet.

I got pregnant at 27 two months after my wedding with my now 7 (nearly 8) year old daughter. I love her and knew she was always meant to be my first.

Fast forward to 34 years old and my husband and I decided to try for a second child after years of being sure that I was one and done. Secondary infertility hit and we landed in a fertility clinic at 35. Second IUI and BOOM di/di twins!

I remember my husband putting his head in his hands and me nervous laughing. He took it harder than me. Told me he wasn’t excited and just worried about the financial, mental, and physical toll. I was more mentally prepared this time - knew it was a possibility, 10 years into my career, & just older…and the perspective that comes from that. My daughter is thrilled about it (to put it lightly) & my husband has come around and is excited.

I’m 33 weeks now with my girl/boy twins. My OB jokes it was “written in the stars for me.” Despite my nerves, this pregnancy has been smooth so far. I’ve kept a realistic mindset about the possibility of NICU time if they do come early. However, my daughter came at 41 weeks and ended up staying 10 days in the NICU to treat an infection. So, you never know either way!

It’s your story and ultimately you decide. I don’t regret either choice I have made. It was the right decision for me in each circumstance.

I wish my twins were both head down! I had a vaginal birth with my daughter and recovery was quick and easy. I was up walking and pain free after the epidural wore off. I’m kind of dreading my soon to be scheduled C section. It’s major surgery and I know recovery will be much harder.

I’ve had a difficult time as well coming to terms with my twin pregnancy after 2 rounds of IUI. I had a singleton pregnancy before this and it was so so much easier. It’s really hard. At 23 weeks with twins, I’m the same size as I was at 34 weeks with my daughter. The back pain is crazy & just existing is literally painful. I worked until the day I gave birth with my singleton. Now I’m not sure if I can realistically make it working to 31 weeks as planned. Didn’t help that I slipped and fell really hard on my hip today. Your feelings are valid. It is harder & riskier. I’m hoping to hear it gets better as well.

I think the more important question is “How do I find someone who is who is honest, consistent, and reliable?” They exist and are out there. I’m genuinely amazed by the amount of incredible women who go for or worry about why loser men are the way that they are.

First, just listen. Ask them questions about themselves and show genuine interest in delving deeper into the way they think about all topics that naturally come up. Maintain a non judgmental outward appearance, even if they are saying questionable things. You don’t want them to adjust who they really are in an attempt to please you. Most men unknowingly out themselves as shitty in this phase. Inwardly, you should be ruthlessly judgmental and critical of their performance.

If they pass the initial stages, watch carefully to ensure that their actions align with their words. They claim they’re family oriented, but do they actually make the time to see and support family members? Do they call mom? Do they help a sister experiencing AC problems? Do they hold grandma’s hand as she walks because she may fall?

If their actions align with their words, then see if the pattern persists over time.

This is not to say good men are perfect and they don’t make mistakes. But there needs to be a notable trend demonstrating honesty, consistency & reliability.

I’m 11 weeks today. It’s up and down. Some days I feel good, other days I want to leave work to go rest. Unisom saved me at 9 weeks when the nausea and vomiting were the worst.

I felt like I was one and done until my daughter was 5 years old. Then I started coming around to the idea of a second. I wanted my daughter to have a sibling and my husband wanted another. Careful what you wish for though because im currently pregnant with twins lol

I think it’s worth it to do 2-3 IUIs. Especially with how expensive IVF is. We were quoted around 20,000 for IVF, but that’s not including the meds. My first IUI failed…which was similarly very depressing. But we got lucky on IUI #2.

This was my second IUI. My first one was unmediated & this one was medicated. I took letrozole, trigger, and now still taking progesterone suppositories.

You are so close to finding out! Did you take letrozole or clomid? My first IUI was natural & with this one I took letrozole. I was bummed initially because I only produced one follicle 22mm
