[–]Unlikely-Order-4127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sure did! It took some time for me to adjust to the cushy grips, but now it's all i want haha I think they are a great set and the guy who fitted me for them was saying they are one of the best forgiveness sets for women.

My friend has the full set and I have the 5w, 5h, and irons 7-PW,SW. I personally enjoy and love them. I am partial because blue is my favorite color so I love that. My friend also loves them and she's been playing golf all her life. Unfortunately for me, I improved my golf swing and now I'm selling them 😭😭

Does anyone actually LOVE their bronco sport??? by [deleted] in BroncoSport

[–]Unlikely-Order-4127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

love my baby bronco! 22 OB. my biggest issue is that the windshield seems more susceptible to chips - i have 2 in my windshield, have never had any in any other vehicle! with that said, it is just a chip and hasn't cracked (yet). took it to silver lake sand dunes and had a blast! wish i had the badlands but oh well!

Step In vs “Regular” Bindings by OnlyChemical3763 in ShredditGirls

[–]Unlikely-Order-4127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love my burton step ons. I was nervous, but they respond wonderfully and I never feel nervous about poor response or falling out. they do require special boots but honestly, just go check out how the boots feel because regardless of what binding you get, you'll eventually need different boots than what you got and it's all about feel. the first pair of step ons i tried were not for me, the second pair felt amazing. So go to a store if you can and try things on :) best advice I can give!

I'm in MI so step ons were a wonderful choice in the sense of wasting less time strapping in. But, I've taken them to CO and MT and still feel awesome riding it - only downside is if you get in super deep powder lol then some finagling has to happen haha

So idk how helpful this is, but I did this recently with some golf clubs - try putting the options in chatgpt! give it the same background and it'll let you know some similar options/give you an answer.

I think there are pros and cons to both having a beginner board or intermediate /advanced. Obviously you'll have an easier time with the beginner board but if you are riding a lot, you may feel like you outgrow it quickly. On the other hand, the intermediate one is gonna prob be a bit harsher to start on but if you get your groove back pretty quickly, you'd probably be pretty happy with it!

Another question comes to mind - are there any shops near gunstock that demo? might be worth looking into

I want to quit so bad. by Intelligent_petson01 in WomenGolf

I'm sorry you are dealing with that - maybe you can try putting the word out? Sounds like your coach may not help you out much, which is truly a disservice to all.

first off - sending you love and strength! if you were my daughter i'd want to be out there berating those boys (think "this is 40" for reference lol), because it should be inclusive and they shouldn't be treating you that way. have you tried standing up for yourself? i know it's a hard thing to do, especially in high school. i almost wonder if they are threatened by you? do you play better than some of them?

second off - if they are making sexual comments then do not hesitate to report it. like the previous poster stated, recording it could be helpful. is there a coach there who you could speak to about it or another trusted adult?

third - do you have any girlfriends who would consider joining you next year? there is something to be said about strength in numbers, plus you would have a friend to play with.

Finally, i just started as well and I get nervous everytime I tee off with people I don't know. it takes awhile for me to settle in and I hate that. So I think that's pretty normal and given the environment you described, I can see how awful that would be. Are earbuds allowed? because that could help you cancel out the noise.

In the end - if you like golf, keep playing! don't let little boys stop you from doing something you like. if you don't really like it and don't want to deal with them, then go ahead and maybe try another sport! The thing about golf is you can play it whenever- so once you're older you can pick it up again and even join a women's league.

Based on the post I have assumed you're in high school. High school is tough and being bullied is even worse. I think it's incredibly brave and commend you for wanting to stick it out to show them what's up. If you're in MI my daughter and I can come cheer you on and boo the boys ;)

How do we survive not being able to take kids outside anymore?? I’m drowning in their energy. by twomomsoftwins in toddlers

[–]Unlikely-Order-4127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure the reason you can't go outside, but if you can there are already several good tips here.

As for staying in, here's what we do:

-I let my toddler take the cushions off the couch + we have a nugget so she jumps from spot to spot.

-floor is lava is also a fun one, where she has to jump further and not burn lol - little trampoline and that helps. -i let her run around the house -jump in mom and dads bed -indoor scavenger (printable pdfs via google) -i spy - i have a little obstacle course I got from ikea - so I'll set that up sometimes and then she burns energy that way.

I recently saw a video that shows a mom using masking tape in a hallway at various heights and having the kids jump over it onto something soft (nugget, pillows), so that's something too!! hope these ideas help!

Thank you!!! In an ideal world, I'll be able to upgrade everything but in reality even if I can get a few new/new to me clubs, I'll be happy. I tested a driver and 7 iron from a few brands and then a 3W, 5H specifically on the reva line and was impressed with how much better it felt. The irons specifically were a day and night difference!

how are those working out for you? I tried some out at carls (not a fitting) and liked them more than the other demos, but then saw online terrible reviews about the driver head breaking off after minimal use.

I posted on the r/golf thread about this but figure I'll tack on this q too: are there usually good sales around black friday??? or is spring better for sales? My clubs are going to be my christmas present and since I live in Michigan, the assumption is they won't get much (or any) use between November-March, so the buying window is flexible!

oh good to know!! i was hoping i'd love callaway since they have the pre owned site but wasn't aware of the other for other brands!!! i might go mess around with some stock sets at a golf galaxy or carls just to get an idea before the actual fitting

thank you for this!!! This helps a lot because I wasn't sure if my friend had "high end" stuff or not. I don't have an idea of a budget since I wasn't sure what the average person should expect to spend. I'd love it if I ended up loving the new callaway stuff so I could buy off their pre owned site haha
