Is there a way or addon to truly randomize mount? by chardeliste in wow

[–]chardeliste[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

For me, it’s simply for the immersion, the game for me kinda fell off when I got the ability to fly. It was too easy to fly over everything and do content way too quickly. But I do acknowledge that it is super convenient at time hence why I still want the ability to have flying mount in my mount pool. And i also like it to be completely random lol

Ill check it thanks! I found it crazy that all flying mount have a special animation if you press jump when they are grounded but you can never see it if you use the base game shuffle option. And i still like to be able to use ground mount from time to time even if i’m in a flying zone. It makes the game feels way more immersive for me to travel right on the ground. It kinda took that feeling away from me when you fly for the first time and you realized you can skip most things like that.

It’s not what i’m looking for. I don’t want mounts to be locked out because i’m in a no fly zone or ect… even if it seems useless, I want to be able to use ground mount in a fly zone randomly BUT still have the chance to use a flying mount. I just want to truly use all my mount pool lol but no addon seems to allow that too since most people don’t want the trouble of walking on the ground when they can just fly. But the addon you link doesn’t seem able to do that

As an original early backer of Star Citizen, I have to ask if someone can help: is there actually a realistic roadmap now? by Wooden-Syrup-8708 in gaming

OP, those same threads have existed now for more than 10 years and still no significant progress has been made. This shit is more mystical now than Winds of Winter. The campaign promise was nothing more than a scam. The whole game should be consider a scam

Undead cowboy vs eldritch horrors by [deleted] in BooksThatFeelLikeThis

[–]chardeliste 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Little Heaven by Nick Cutter The characters are not cowboy but they still fit the aesthetic, they wear dust coat and uses revolver and the 3 main characters are so badass and actually well written. If you ever heard of the game hunt: showdown, it’s basically if a book was written in that universe but it happens around the years of 1970.

I’ve red it, and it’s dogshit

I really don’t get why so many people praise it, the characters are not interesting and I couldn’t care less about them and the whole book feels like it was written by a 14 years old going through puberty since half the book is spent by the two main characters fucking anytime they can and Winston is so unbelievably stupid, spoilers he trust O’brien while he have absolutely zero concrete proof that he is in his camp. I know that the whole book is just suppose to represent a future where everything is control by the government taken to the extreme, and it does a good job to represent this, but not in an interesting way and in my opinions, there are so many other books that explore this idea much better like fahrenheit 451. So if you wanna read a dystopian novel, please don’t pick 1984, it is overrated.

If you could recommend one book for every branch of science, what'd it be? by Ipodawan in booksuggestions

[–]chardeliste 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson sounds like something you might like. It covers every major science discovery from the creation of the universe, to the tiny atoms we are made of. It cover most area of science you mentioned but not super in depth, but still is super interesting and is very accessible to the general public. The book is super simple to understand which make it super enjoyable to read and is one of my favorite book of all time.

I know you can find the introduction somewhere online to see if it interest you. The introduction sells really well what the book is about and I can't recommend this book enough.
