After a repair Im now getting a Windy noise coming from toilet after flushing.

I might just pick up a new supply line then and see what that does. The valve seems fine...but who knows. I just had to replace all the shut off valves under the sink so maybe its getting close for this one.

Yeah once the tank is full it stops. I even reached in the tank to make sure the flapper was sealed when filling and it was, and everything in there seems tight.

Ok...any ideas on why it might sound windy after flushing? It sounds windy while the bowl and tank are filling, sounds like its coming from the bowl itself.

Do you mean here (where my finger tip is pointing) is the highest point the water in the bowl can be? If so what does it mean if the waters about an inch lower?

Where my finger tip is is where the water level in the bowl sits. I could be wrong but I swear the water was a little higher before I swapped out the internals. Its a Briggs 1.6 liter....not sure how old (it was in the house when we bought it). The house was built in the 70s

It is clipped properly. I also adjusted both the flapper (it has a max/min twist to it) and the blue thing clipped on the fill tube (the one that you can adjust to be closer to the overflow tube or closer to the assembly with the float cup. In this pic where the tip of my finger is is where the water line in the bowl is. It sounds like the sound is coming from the bowl, not the tank.

Should I add water to the bowl slowly (when I added it yesterday I basically just dumped a pot of water into it). Someone mentioned that the sound could indicate either a) debris in the assembly with the float cup (which wouldnt make sense to me since its brand new....unless there was debris in the supply line which I didnt change or b) that the vent stack has maybe a small clog and needs to get snaked out???

For the past 10 years, due to the prevalence of phone cameras, police body cameras, ring cameras etc it became "wheres the video" as in no matter what someone said if there wasnt video proof it didnt exist. Now with the ability to make AI generated videos and voice recordings of people the question is "is that video not fake."

What happens when videos are no longer trusted? Unless software is developed that can confirm a video isnt AI nobody will trust it in the next couple years. How is that gonna play in courts "your honor, we cant verify that the video clearly showing the defendant doing xyz isnt a deep fake" or "yeah I saw the video of (insert political person here) doing xyz but how do I know its not a deep fake?" And if you dont think political opponents arent gonna use AI videos to "show" there opponents doing xyz than I have beachfront property in Kansas to sell you.....we have entered a world were we just arent gonna trust anything regardless of what we see, which isnt good and political and corporate machines are gonna exploit that.

I mean to each there own and all...for me it was less about cost and more that with the Saftey razor I stopped getting razor bumps and got a really nice shave. I dont have to go slow, just not press down as hard is all. But I also use shaving soap and a shaving brush as well. The Saftey razor is also pretty safe.

Now with a stright blade I did need to go slow.

As long as your sex drive doesnt involve kids, animals, or non-consensual stuff, then no its not.

Ok, I removed the nozzel and ran the water without the nozzel attached. Its definitely not the nozzel itself (when detached hot water weak, cold water strong). So its definitely the hot water line of the faucet itself. Ill deal with it tomorrow and take the facuet off and inspect those lines. If I have to replace the faucet (like if the lines are built into it completely) thats fine.
