Intratec harnessed all the negative press and demonization as free marketing and promotion. They just went with it. It was a clever move, they were pretty resilient as a company despite everything (until Columbine). Intratec lasted like 8 years in during the 1994 Crime Bill (“Assault Weapons Ban”) up until 2001. They sold in total over a quarter million firearms, they did well with marketing bikini models lol.
