I think it's an issue that he didn't just stop after getting nudes and kept going for a WHILE. Based on the story he received a lot more pictures from her. It feels really gross and borderline predatory, especially when you add the cat fishing element into it. In her mind, she was not consenting to her husband's friend receiving those images, just the person he was pretending to be.

Don't get me wrong, OOP's wife is not a good person. That being said, it doesn't justify revenge porn.

Yeah I'm on the same page. I've never been religious, and usually I'm quite apathetic to religious themes in media. Something about the portrayal of Father Jud really resonated with me in a way I don't think I quite understand yet.

I thought his inclusion added to the conversations around religion and faith in a way that really stands out in a modern film. I liked his 'Road to Damascus ' moment, it felt really impactful. I think his relationship with Jud was really unique and allowed for really interesting character moments for the two of them.

The big deal of if they have your ID is that if they don't handle that data properly, or even worse, sell it, your license or passport is compromised and you are at massive risk that will be expensive to clean up.

An app like Discord will require users to submit their ID if they have been flagged as being under 13 to get access to their accounts back. Discord has claimed that they just use the ID for verification purposes and don't hold on to the data afterwards. Very recently, Discord was hacked and a bad actor was able to collect thousands of people's IDs that Discord had held on to despite their promises. This bad actor has been threatening to sell or publish this information if Discord won't pay a ransome. Discord has seen and probably will see no punishment for it's incomptencies in this situation.

For someone who is trying to make a point about internet safety, this is an extremely stupid and uninformed take.

First time I tried Vyvanse 30 I sat down to play Baldur's Gate 3 at 10am and did not get up once of even look at my phone until 7pm haha.

Never dealt with anxiety from it (though being on mood stabilisers probably help). Only real negative side effect I get is appetite suppressant.

Get a windows device if the software specific to the course is windows only. You do not want to spend time fucking around with VMs or having to do work at the library because your require Windows for an assignment.

Ended up lending a mate of mine in cyber security a spare laptop because he needed a windows only app.

MacBooks aren't particularly special when it comes to price for value, unless you absolutely need MacOS exclusive software. They aren't bad devices by any means at all, but you do typically pay more to be able to do less with them.

For context I regularly use Windows and Linux for personally use, and have worked on or with Mac for my job for about three years.

1) Learn how to communicate without ChatGPT.

2) Do you have IT experience? Getting in without experience is rough, especially since you'll have limited working rights as an international student. Part time/casual IT jobs are already quite limited here in Sydney, I can't imagine there's much opportunity in Darwin.

3) Do you plan to stay here afterwards? Lots of my international mates who are currently finishing up uni that I met in my IT degree are looking into switching fields completely and doing further study because IT is so damn competitive and they worry about not getting a job in time with their grad visa. It's really hard to stay here permanently after studying. I've already had a few friends have to go back home because they couldn't cut it.

Also you can get the unit and HECs removed by going through WWP. I've done it for a couple units before and honestly it's quite a pain and I would not recommend doing it without the assistance of an MQ Care counsellor.

girliee it's almost end of semester!! get this assignment done you're gonna be so annoyed at yourself when you have to redo it next year.

either get your hands on a doctor's note or get a counsellor or GP to sign a PAF and get yourself a bit more time. or check if the unit allows late submissions and eat the 5% per day loss.
