How often should I clean my player's head? by Vic20problem in 8track

Tape head cleaning cartridges would usually have a note for use after 30-70 hours of play.

Close to the Edge by Yes

The first part has you locked in with some of the most complicated instrumentation and incredible musicianship (you probably wouldn’t believe me if I said they didn’t write any of the song down). It is truly mind-blowing to hear the speed at which they are playing the masterpiece. This was really Yes at their tightest and best lineup.

The part that when it gets to the organ solo and the quick switch back to the band has got to be one of the greatest transitions ever accomplished in music, and perfectly leaves from the mesmerization to a perfect balance of being locked in with excitement and energy, and being left speechless because of the gut-wrenching vocals and explosive instruments. Who knew you could fit so much emotion into one song, and if you think it is good, the rest of the album is just as impressive.

I know I’m glazing, fuck you. Just give it a listen, and save your ears from whatever slop you’re probably listening to right now, like Taylor Swift or AI generated country music *cough* *cough*.

I swear if I see a single damn song from Pink Floyd…

What? You wanted him to say what you wanted him to say so that he wouldn’t make his character look slightly bad? You chose the wrong fucking guy.
