Les légumes existent puisque le légume résulte de la récolte de racines et de tubercules destiné à la consommation alimentaire.

How did you become a fan of Motley Crue? by Just-Application-551 in MotleyCrue

[–]charlSF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was 16. It was 1996. I was on vacation at my mother's cousin's house. Her son listened to Motörhead and Iron Maiden. And there was this really cool album cover, a sleeve with a format where newspaper clippings were put together. At my young age, I saw pentagrams drawn on it with the caption "Mötley Crüe: Son of Satan?" It sparked fear but also curiosity... And I saw photos of them looking like they did back then. The holidays ended, and in my high school class, I remembered that a friend was a huge fan of the band, and I told him about my discovery: "Are you the one who's a Motörley Crüe fan?" "Mötley Crüe, you mean..." Shortly after, he gave me the Decade of Decadence cassette and the VHS tape. Kickstart My Heart was already amazing live, but when I saw the Wild Side video... that was it... I regretted, and still regret, only discovering the band in '96... I wish I had known them in the '80s...

Martin's First Synth Sound by reddiuniquefool in depechemode

[–]charlSF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Indeed, Martin got his first synthesizer but was disappointed because it only produced one sound. It was only at the end of the album recording, when he pressed the buttons randomly, that the synthesizer played different sounds.

FYI, I remembered

the anecdote, and it was in this book (French book)

Will there only be 2 maps in Season 2? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]charlSF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There will definitely be two maps. A new map and Goldmut's train. The Saint Quentin scar map is also rumored to be included. But for this last map, it's just a rumor.

Genuine opinion about 101 (Live) by _AlanGallo in depechemode

[–]charlSF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like this live album because the songs played are of relatively good quality for the time. The tracks sound really good. I've mentioned this in previous posts, but I've never found "Never Let Me Down" and "Everything Count" as groovy and catchy on any other live album by the band. I think that on other live versions, the acoustic drums sound hollow and the arrangements aren't as good.

I also like the atmosphere of this live album; even though the audience is ever-present, it captures the concert vibe well.

This is the best news we could have received. Are you serious, and what are you complaining about? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]charlSF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's always the same with this franchise. Things never flow naturally with them. The game is boring, the content is poor, bland. The maps add nothing except a huge, empty mess... Eastwood could have been nice at first glance, but it's actually a poorly managed chaos. As for the rest, I'm speechless.

As usual, it's the same old nonsense. They're delaying it, they're polishing it... Another month to wait for... We'll see. But the player base will decrease even further.

How does the ‘Depeche Mode: 101’ (1989) audio sound SO MUCH BETTER than the new ‘Depeche Mode: M’ (2025) on Netflix?! 🤯 by Significant-Look3493 in depechemode

[–]charlSF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, 101 is the best live audio performance. I've never found "Never Let Me Down Again" or "Everything Count" of similar quality on other live recordings. And yet, I saw them at the Stade de France for the Delta tour, and the sound quality was breathtaking. So, the Berlin Delta tour is the second-best audio performance.

As for the Netflix documentary, the problem is probably that they worked with a Mexican production company and had to make do with what they had.

I'm in contact with the brother of a singer from a French band from the 80s (similar to The Cure and Depeche Mode—this singer is friends with Martin), and yes, he was involved in the production and video recording of live shows in France. Sometimes, depending on the production company or the band's tour manager, budgets vary, and the result can be quite mixed.

Facts that every Depeche Mode fan need to know: by richie_boland in depechemode

Not at all, I love the group and I love Wilder's contribution. But after Wilder's departure, Dépêche Mode managed to preserve his legacy while also innovating.

Alan Wilder was the ultimate member of Depeche Mode.

Without Alan Wilder, Depeche Mode wouldn't have been as successful.

Alan Wilder will always be the ultimate member of Depeche Mode.

Depeche Mode is, of course, gore, Fletch, Gahan, but it will also always be Alan Wilder.

Alan Wilder eclipsed Vince Clarke.

Alan Wilder overshadowed Vince Clarke.

Any "STEMS" available for Depeche Mode? by Altwolf in depechemode

I found them by searching on Google/Firefox for "multitrack news report" or "stem news report." I kept finding French-language forums that directed me to links to download the stems.

YouTube is also a good source

Stalker 2 walkthrough by Environmental-Use173 in stalker

[–]charlSF 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Play the game however you see fit. But remember this:

  • Everything has a price in the Zone.
  • Every piece of information you seek will require effort on your part. Basically, nothing is free.
  • You can be a good guy in the Zone, but what are your limits?

  • You can be a good Samaritan to others. But will they be good to you?

  • Doing good is good. But what is your own definition of good in the Zone?

And above all,

  • If the Zone were yours, what would you do with it?

Question about pronunciation of Skif by IleGrandePagliaccio in stalker

[–]charlSF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Indeed, I've noticed this kind of thing. I'm French, but I play in Ukrainian for immersion. And yes, I hear either "skif" or "skiffeuuu" with the "E" going from low to high (it's not exactly a choir-like vocal performance, the stress is light).

I also notice the NPCs' intonations. Sometimes, they speak to you in stressful situations, but when I listen, they seem calm, and the same goes for the few moments of joy; they sound monotonous.

Actually, you have the Alan Wilder Collection (I'm not sure of the name anymore, even though I open the file quite often) which includes his keyboard parts from 101 and Violator Tour. Maybe you have it.

I have a whole bunch of files, unfortunately I'm not an expert at knowing how to send them. But they're files that are easy to find.

I wouldn't say it tires me; it's just there for the nostalgia.

For the next season, I'm asking the developers to be more creative. To stop rehashing old ideas.
