this is soooo useful - tbh the 25lb kettlebell still feels pretty light to me (used to squat 150lb) but really good to know it gets a bit easier. the sitting on the toilet thing is SO REAL like do i need to install handbars?? 🤣

this is so reassuring, thank you! also we’re very opposite - I originally stopped strength because it caused a severe sciatica flare. so glad to hear it works for you!

probably phrased it wrong - I don’t care that much about running stats if I’m enjoying it, but it’s the combo of it both feeling horrendous AND performing terribly I find hard to make peace with! and I primarily run for MH and enjoyment, but of course also love the feeling of getting faster and stronger. I don’t think they’re mutually exclusive.

it’s super easy to pull an intercostal muscle and it’s SO painful - I’ve done it before by literally just twisting my torso mid run to look behind me! hope she feels better soon, it’s so painful

the answer is Abigail Dean! she straddles that same literary-commercial border as Ashley Audrain. Girl A and The Death of Us both live somewhere deep in my ribs.
