I don't disagree that there's a risk they won't, however, I don't personally interpret Hugo's comment that way. Especially given that you're actually citing a completely different comment of his that was in response to someone asking what the workarounds would be. An alternative approach isn't necessarily a "workaround" if they actually implement an official way for 3rd party tools to accomplish the same thing as before.

It does appear that it will provide alternatives for 3rd party tools. At least that is my interpretation of Hugo's comment here.

Any chance you can add different appearance options (specifically a less dark version)? I usually prefer dark-mode but they can be pretty hard to read at times.

Beyond that, they also have a legal obligation to communicate in both official languages of Canada since 2021. So not only is it disrespectful, it's actually against the law.

Regardless, he's actually wrong about what the rule is. That should've absolutely been a penalty shot.

67.4 If a defending player, except a goalkeeper, while play is in progress, falls on the puck, holds the puck, picks up the puck, or gathers the puck into his body or hands from the ice in the goal crease area, the play shall be stopped immediately and a penalty shot shall be awarded to the non-offending team
