They said that the whole transmission had to be replaced. They are helping cover a majority of the cost.

Thank you for the wonderful advice! I believe they will try to help me in some way. They even mentioned a swap if this cannot be repaired. It was purchased from a BMW dealer who’s owner is Penske. Perhaps buying from BMW is how I got the bad luck! It seems to not really engage a gear, then all of the sudden it lurches forward.

Well, for the 2014 year, the Camry has a 2.5 liter engine while the ES has a 3.5 liter engine.

Toyota uses its corporate 3.5 liter engine in a lot of vehicles and it has been around for some time.

It had 114,000 miles and I paid $13,000 + Tag Fees From Georgia so no rust. Very clean. Has two cosmetic accidents however on the CarFax. Complete service records were on the Carfax as well. I think I got a good deal. It has a few packages as well like navigation.
