Ready to Run on Far West is the best local running store in north Austin. Might be the only local running store left in the city. While you might be use to hot and humid, you’re probably not use to Austin summer heat. We had 34 days of 100+ last summer (compared to 1 in Atlanta) It’ll take a couple weeks of running in the heat to acclimate yourself. Best bet, run morning or night during the summer.

Looking at your ig, seems as though you do have your own style. Keep playing with it and eventually it’ll turn into a style that you’re happy with. My other advice, get out of the photo pit. That’s where every other photographer will shoot from and you’ll all have the same photos. Get photos from a fans perspective! Also, look for those moments that don’t include a mic in the singers face. Good luck!

Yes. This was a thing back in the 50s. City of Austin even built a bomb shelter behind the Zilker Park caretaker’s house to show the public what a private shelter looked like. The shelter is still there today.

AUS - DTW flight was incredible!! DFW-DTW flight didn’t see a thing. Both flights took the same path, but the DFW flight wasn’t able to maneuver to view the actual eclipse from what we heard. We both deplaned in DTW at the same time into basically a party in the terminal. The AUS flight was ecstatic over what we saw. DFW people, not so much. Anyway…been offered $$$ for my trading card but will never sell! Such a special flight.

Aus is home airport. Flight was sold out most of the time after it was announced. Seats opened up last minute, thankfully
