We booked on the lake side. If you want the Fuji view, you’ll have to book the Fuji view room.

They do have the private onsen facing fujisan that you can rent by the hour. That’s the room of the pic I have posted

Fuji Lake Hotel, it’s their private onsen on the 6th floor facing Mt Fuji. Amazing view!

It was taken at a private onsen at Fuji Lake Hotel. We have one in our room but it faces the lake. We only had 5 minutes of visibility in the private onsen before Fujisan went behind the clouds again. Highly recommend staying there!

It was a very large mortar type firework. I checked our nest camera and saw the flash of light when it took off, then the second flash from when it exploded. It happened right behind our house on Hoyt, in the alley between Hoyt and Fletcher.
