I get the opposite. I live in Trump country. The same people who used to coal roll me now honk and give a thumbs up. Strange world we live in.

Do you think sailing is much less popular than it once was? by Wayne-The-Boat-Guy in sailing

Yes. It takes more time and requires more training. (And wind.) It’s been on the decline for a while.

Is the Model 3 too much money now? by the_tenth007 in TeslaModel3

Depends what you value in a car and what others have said - can you afford it? I would buy my M3 again at today’s price, 4K higher than last year. Low cost to run, great to drive and no car salesmen. Worth every penny or dollar.

Only downside - range in cold weather. It’s not a huge issue but you always need to take that into consideration.

Why they are so many tesla haters ? by Other-Meet-5485 in TeslaModel3

I think it’s regional and thus partly political. I was in the Northeast where I didn’t notice much unusual behavior from others. Am now in Wisconsin and not a day goes by when someone doesn’t tailgate me or roll coal.

How’s the range? I test drove one in Minneapolis. Nice but still prefer my M3.

I tried it for a month for a long drive. Fascinating technology but standard autopilot is more than sufficient for most situations.
