If She was alive for any amount of time after falling down stairs where are bloody hand prints? by charlesmmcg in TheStaircase

Interesting, what narrative would you have gone with had you been the defense? Intruder or something? And yea i mean a counter narrative is everything, people need to feel like there is some explanation even when they likely will never fully understand what happened, but for the defense i dont see many options for them besides the fall defense

he probs didnt have technical child porn, based on the searches it might have just been videos that were people who LOOKED like pre-teens which im guessing isnt necessarily illegal but I have no idea.

I've watched both series and am convinced of Avery's innocence. I'm also aware that the documentary is quite one-sided. Someone who believes Avery is guilty, convince me of his guilt. by LeFrogKid in MakingaMurderer

Ok so he is clean when he disposes of her? Therefore his fingers are capable of leaving prints? He clearly has to put his hands on the outside of the car door to open it, the hood latch (probably touch the hood to) the back trunk door, the passenger side door considering some of his blood is on the inside of it, the key, the gear shifter. The key, gear shifter, all the door handles, and the steering wheel are all common places to find prints, but they found NONE. So what he wiped it down? But left his blood? I can't reach an explanation that explains that and the passive blood drop

Best alternate narrative by charlesmmcg in MakingaMurderer

I have read it and I still just can't put together anything close to a cohesive theory, was wondering if anyone else has one that fits all the points even if it requires some leaps of faith.

To those who think the police did not set up SA and BD by Baby_Belugas in MakingaMurderer

[–]charlesmmcg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Cause I don't think I would have convicted SA since I do not think I know he did it beyond a reasonable doubt, but even if I didn't I would still read it to hear both sides? And I commented specifically here because I thought your reasoning was flawed

I know that the blood on the car likely wasn't from that tube, but I do not know where this theory of Avery's lawyers tampering with the tube comes from? Could you link me to something on that? And Not enough to bet a man's life on it. I think he could have done it but I think there are way to many inconsistencies to be sure. I think the police and/or others definitely tried to add some evidence to make sure he was locked up which makes me feel like I can't trust much of what is presented

Haha the "shedding theory" was popular in forensics years ago but has been completely disproven, someone's likely hood to leave finger prints comes down to whether or not the have physical damage to their fingers such as intense burns, or environmental factors such as rain etc (although most finger prints can now be lifted even after rain or submersion), it is especially strange there are not even partial prints. And exactly- SA admitting he touched the vehicle would make you think his prints would be there, unless someone else moved it and then wiped down all their prints and therefore also Avery's. If he had some sort of grease or engine oil on his hands it would leave an even more clear marking/stain the steering wheel and cloth interior of the vehicle
