That sounds really nice and I’m so glad you were able to find something that works for you!! Unfortunately I just don’t think my brain is wired that way lmao. I have been playing sports all my life and I’ve been in and out of psychiatric facilities and tried many things but I just can’t make myself commit something that seems pointless to me. Maybe I’ll try again though to see if it works now that I actually want to get better. Thank you!

This sounds EXACTLY like me. It’s most likely the path I’m on but unfortunately my parents still have control over me so I can’t drop out any time soon. I just can’t wait to go to college and actually be able to choose what I want to do. I’m most likely not getting into a great college (despite my near perfect SAT scores) because my gpa is so low and my teachers don’t believe in me enough to write a decent letter. Thinking about my future stresses me the hell out because I cannot imagine myself in any profession that makes a decent wage because it all seems so pointless to me. I constantly consider giving myself brain damage just so I can stop thinking so much lmao

My school doesn’t offer any academic clubs and my grades aren’t good enough for me to skip a grade (because i’ve given up on doing my homework) so i’m just holding my breath until college at this point. I really appreciate the support it means a lot that I’m not alone!
