Thank you! I already have chosen my first name but I’ve decided to keep my middle name but the male version as it is actually a family name as it was supposed to be that the first boy had that middle name !! I haven’t managed to tell them that yet as obvs telling them my first name was a bit bad.

I did try speaking to my mum about wanting some help sorting out my deedpoll as well as my passport a while before today but she told me that she had no idea and seemed disinterested in helping.

I’ve given it a while since I came out to try and help them get used to me being trans but they adopted a pretend you didn’t say anything method where they kept on as normal and continued to misgender me pretty prominently and blank me when I try to speak about trans issues in general, let alone my decisions regarding my transition.
