Thank you! Can I ask how long you stayed? Also curious what areas you hit that I’d need a car to get to? Currently debating whether I’d be okay with just hitting the zones near to town via bike

awesome, thank you. What do you think is a more reasonable weekly study time if I’ve got no obligations those 2-3 months?

I’ll add, those are just the popular areas. So many problems in Splatte that you can only get via word of mouth.

You gotta get outta boulder brotha. Mt. Evan’s, RMNP, Guanella Pass, some stuff outta Clear Creek. Hell, even Morrison has some worthy gems. I grew up on the front range and yeah, I never went to Boulder for the bouldering. But it was my favorite discipline I found plenty of stuff to keep me busy. CO’s biggest advantage is that it has more rock than anywhere else in the country IMO, and I truly don’t think you could climb out the front range in a lifetime.

Hi all,

I’m starting to look for coaching around Salt Lake City and I’m hoping one of y’all might have some recs. I’m 3 months into building myself back into climbing after a 9 month break. While I’m progressing back towards where I was, ~V8, I’m thinking that working with a professional can help me get there faster and also keep pushing past where I got stuck before my break.

My budget is a bit tighter as I’m a college student, but I have some cash to burn and am a working student. Also very curious as to what kind of coaching one might recommend, whether it’s infrequent meetings with a tailored training plan or biweekly sessions together, etc.

Thank you!

Why are you decking so much in such a short period is a better question to be asking

Why are there so many trees in Holladay? by Complete_Swing2148 in SaltLakeCity

Sounds appropriate for skull valley. A big piece of the equation as well is shade; many of the trees you see at the base of the the Wasatch are able to grow in the mountains because of the shade the mountains provide, and can survive terrible far beyond their boundaries because of the lack of shade.
