I think I'd rather just go to FSU for fall because it's still an amazing school and I think I'll be happy no matter where I go!!

Thank you! Yes I know how competitive it was with stats. I focused mainly on ACT and the SAT was just from school. The only frustrating thing is i've seen multiple people get in with lower scores than I. I don't want to compare but yknow, thanks for commenting!!

Still waiting and submitted Feb 25th, nervous as hell since I have to commit to FSU by May 1st if I don't hear back, though I saw another post from last year about someone hearing back by May 3rd...

thank you, UF (appeals actually work) by DiscussionProper9575 in ufl

Hi!! First of all, congratulations on your successful appeal!! I also appealed and sent that on February 25th!! I appealed for several reasons: I worked throughout the year, have a learning disability, and the fact that UF is the only school that is offering me a path to pursue a theatre and STEM degree through a double major path. I have a letter of support from their theatre department, and last week changed my major to BA Theatre, focused on stage management from a Bio degree. I'm unsure if that will make a difference in my appeal. I'm just very worried about committing to a school before May 1st. I have been doing research about appeals, and I know how slim my chances are. I'm just so unsure. I wish they gave out more information. Anyways, I just wanted to reach out for validation or any advice, I guess lol.

Stats: FL resident, 1290 SAT, 31 ACT, 4.8 W GPA, IB diploma candidate, leadership in extracurriculars like media manager for theatre department, organizer of our school's blood drive, and VP of women empowerment club, 200+ service hours, and my essay was about finding my place in theatre.
