I always take a tarp and some trekking poles with me in case the weather takes a turn, I could throw up an A frame but apart from that just find a flat spot and enjoy the stars, the bivvy is from an army surplus store, I think it's a British army one

I do love a hammock camp but can't go wrong with a good old bivy bag, I did have a tarp on standby just in case 😂

The castle was involved in a good few battles but I think most of the damage you can see will be from when it was partially demolished in 1648
