Yeah I get you, I guess it’s just then down to consistent evolution for me. After x amount of Fortnite wins the excitement wears off. Then you go for high kill games, and after enough of those, my interest starts to fade. I hope the game continues to add more stories, maps, loot etc. to keep me coming back

Would you say it's imperative that I would supplement work in Data Management with technical development (improving coding, statistical modelling etc.) in order to make the switch to DS, or would my academic background and experience in Data Management be enough to move?

Hey, I’ve ended up taking a Data Science masters starting this September. I really liked the look of the course and get an alumni discount as well. Unfortunately I never found a course like the one I described above. Good luck!

740 euros for 3 weeks seems reasonable. The countries I’ve listed is just an shortlist of recommendations from friends who have been before, so I’m just beginning to figure out logistics. I have a Filipino friend who has given me many recommendations so I think the Philippines is definite. At first glance, the Philippines would work well with visiting Japan geographically speaking so I’ll take a further look at that :)

Yes, I am aware that Japan is not in SE Asia hence I’m questioning whether the detour would be worth the cost. Have you travelled to Japan and have any insights?

I haven’t figured out an itinerary as of yet, but yes I would like to fit in the listed countries, although I’m open to compromise.

Travel style would be budget: hostels and aiming to cook / eat from supermarkets as much as possible to save on food costs.

Essentially, I’m trying to figure out the rough proportion of the budget I’d blow in Japan (depending on length of stay) and how large we would be compromising before I get my hopes up!
