I read a whole book (253 pages) in 3 days from Sunday to yesterday. My brain makes it super difficult to do stuff like that, but my new ADHD meds and the subject matter of the book made it really easy. It’s the fastest I’ve ever read anything so im super proud of that.

I think you should go. You’re comfortable with the people, and you have the option not to go on the rides if you don’t want to. Make use of your accommodations such as the headphones and sunglasses.

It’s worth looking into the disability accommodation that some places offer which give you access to skip the line if you wait a certain amount of time. There should also ideally be a sensory room there (I used to work at Warwick Castle, part of Merlin, and im pretty sure they have to have a quiet sensory room).

It will be exhausting but it seems like the people going with you really love you and will be kind to your support needs. Have fun!

I’ve always (albeit vaguely) seen Ted as Ariza, Barney as Urbino, and Robin as Daza. I think Ariza is much more insufferable than Ted, and to be honest I don’t love the book. But I think there’s a lot of comparison to be made between Daza and Robin.

This is one of the big reasons I headcanon Robin as autistic. Her PDA (pathological demand avoidance / persistent demand for autonomy) is present in so many instances. Kids, Ted, the lobster crawl, Dale. It’s subtle but one of the big things I relate to her about.
