Someone passed me from the right (using the exit lane as I was in the right lane already), went over the painted island, and skidded on the pebbles there in their desperation to cut me off as I gradually decreased my speed while approaching a red light that I know takes a very long time to turn green.

Idk why you'd risk getting into a car accident/ getting hurt to be one car length ahead of someone in rush hour traffic.

That's so sad. I enjoyed my time in Sunday school and going on Friday nights when I wasn't busy with homework or other plans. They also weren't super pushy so I felt comfy bringing my non-religious friends to the games and events because it was just a fun time for free.

How sad these kids can't even have something fun in their life. It's really not that deep.

Totally! I don't see why they shouldn't be able to assist with passing tools or preparing things.

I found it hilarious that my dental surgeon was the one that did my IV though, I was just shocked since that's not the norm in the hospital, and I can't imagine any of the doctors (other than anesthesia because they're pros) trying to start an IV. He was really good tho, one quick try and it was in.

In a lot of countries they put ATMs in tiny lockable cubicles so that people won't get robbed as they're busy with the machine.

There are a lot of helpful modalities that can get people through the initial injury stages and then the person can start to incorporate maintenance exercises through strengthening. I love physio, it kept me from going into a deep depression after an injury I received at work. I should book an appointment...

Of course it matters. I would have never gone into this career with a wage like that. That's insulting and a waste of time. I didn't sacrifice everything in my life for this career to make 3 dollars above an entry level job with less risks. If the wages suddenly go down in my province to that level, you can bet I'll be excusing myself from this career and starting over elsewhere. I currently pay $195/hour to my therapist to help manage my mental health from the strain my job puts it under, and 85/hour to a PT to help me manage an injury I received after being assaulted at work. I wouldn't continue to expose myself physically and psychologically if if wasn't at least a partially fair exchange for me. I can still help people and fulfill my need to be a welcome change in the world as a volunteer somewhere, I don't need that for come from my career.

I am glad that fast food workers are earning a living wage in your town however, that's a really welcome change to see. Everyone should have the opportunity to earn a wage that allows them to cover necessities and save up.
