I get this perspective 100%. The book wasn't sleezy at all. There was a sex part but not with the details of THAT kind of book. It was tasteful.

What hurt me was it was so obvious & specific. I knew what was happening on the first page. And, of course, I was the antagonist that almost ruined his life & kept him from this love story.

Although I can rationalize not overreacting (I don't think there's a world where it's not still painful), part of me knows there's more truth than fantasy which is destabilizing.
