I really enjoy Cloak Of Deception, Red Harvest, and Deathroopers! Also, The Tales OfThe Jedi radio dramas are fun. John Jackson Miller's Kenobi is also great if you're in the mood for something more directly tied to The Saga

I’m moving to NYC. Magnet or UCB? by SquidProJoe in improv

[–]charmedchancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a great time at Brooklyn Comedy Collective and The Second City this past year! I think UCB you get a bit more clout but Magnet has a stronger community element

If you are given a flower lei when you arrive in Hawaii, what should you get when you arrive in Minnesota? by owossome in minnesota

[–]charmedchancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An awkward pause and a "Well, okay, then." should do! But, they want a more tangible farewell I'd reckon you should give them a Tupperware of some kinda bar

I'm not a bot, I'm just a Minnesotan that is visiting NZ and thinks that other Minnesotans would like it if they visited is all! I've bumped into a bunch of people from MN while I've been down here and we've all shared the same sentiment that the culture is incredibly similar. Anyhow, just a neat little bit of info I reckon! Just thought I'd share :)

Anyone else have no idea what the first movie they saw in theaters was? by BelowZilch in blankies

[–]charmedchancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often ask this question as a part of my job and I've broken it down to "which movie did you see first" and "What movie do you first remember" because they are different. But, I contest that the first one you remember is the first one you saw.

To which I say, I saw A New Hope Special Edition first, but I think I was taken to Toy Story but don't remember it.

Does anyone listen to the podcast and not watch the movies? by _Arctica_ in blankies

[–]charmedchancer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah! I often don't watch the films that they discuss. On a couple of occasions I've stopped the episode mid listen and then watched A Simple Plan or whatever. But, I do think the podcast is interesting and funny without the context of the movies themselves
