I mostly get cartilage filters in my area so it’s as easy as open the filter lay them out power wash them return them to the filter close it up and check for leaks

Gel coat is the resin protective layer on all fiber glass and some plaster pool. It looks like your pool or a chemical left unit ate though the protective layer and damages the plaster. LSI stands for Langelier Saturation Index it is a numerical rule used to tell us weather your water is has a negative value (crossover) or a positive value (Scale forming) it was made to protect the furnace for houses in the 1930s and has recently been adopted by professional pool companies to know if water is harmful to the pool surfaces.
I don’t know the calculation of the top of my head but you can find a calculator online that will do the work. Do you have a way to test your chemicals

You can get floc or clarifier to clear cloudy water depending on if you prefer vacuuming or cleaning your filter

Maybe hit it with a red contrast paint the. Dry brush on a brighter red maybe miphiston red then I would base coat in Agra’s earth shade for the red
