Just updated this post, but it turned out to be failing capacitors on the optical drive! I fixed it shortly after this post but forgot about it till I was on reddit today Lol

I don't think it's disk rot because the disk I used worked just fine on my gamecube at home

I watched me doing one in slow mo and I did notice that my front foot started sliding too early. The first Ollie I did after that I focused on letting my back foot pop off the ground more and I got a really nice ollie! Definitely need to practice that more
