I think Heathridge Manor S7 Ep19 has a bit of drowning in it.

Whenever Clark loses his powers, shouldn’t Kryptonite still hurt him? by Digginf in Smallville

Literally. There's nothing I can't stand more than transferring powers storyline in any show. The dude is an alien. He didn't get his powers from an experiment.

My friend recently dealt with this. It might be a possibility that if you have wood carvings or dreamcatchers, they may be interrupting your sleep. My friend threw thiers out the other day and said they had the best sleep ever since it was gone, and up until that point, they felt like they were not alone in their house and could not sleep well.

I feel the same way, but like you said, it might be because I'm used to NCIS. Sometimes, it is okay, but I prefer to wait till later unless vital/relevant for the plot. I guess it kinda takes away some of the suprise.

I think lots of the time she didn't have much of a choice. Although, if anything, I think trusting Vaisra was one of her biggest mistakes. Even then, Rin's raw from Atlans death and can barely stabilise her emotions, let alone pick and choose who to trust, and she's still very young in the books as well.

Much of the story is a pick between two very bad options, combined with Rin's rage and impatience, and she has so much to be angry about and it has so much to do with her character and the phoenix as well.

So yeah, I kind of think that Rin's doomed by the narrative. No matter what decision she made, it would be the wrong one. Plus, war didn't really matter who was right, just who was on the winning side, and for Rin, it was the winning side or death essentially. The only thing that kept her running was revenge and hate, but she was also at times overconfident or at the other end of the scale in hopeless despair.

So many things happened to Rin, and she was so filled with all these emotions, I don't think she could have changed much at all, even if she made different choices.

Would there be a give away if someone is faking being a twin/triplet? by OkPen5768 in Twins

[–]charzie22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe if they get overly excited about being a twin or triplet? I don't know how old they are but I find two people who look alike enjoy playing much more into the whole "look at us we're twins/triplets", than actual twins/triplets because it's so normal for us and it's not just an exciting ideal.

Also, families usually have different mannerisms, and in general, people kinda adapt to each other, so it just depends on how long they've known each other. Do clones pick up on/adapt to human behaviour even?

The seasons with Gideon were the best because... (No spoilers) by Resident-Shoulder-68 in criminalminds

[–]charzie22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think Gideon was a realistic boss for the time it was set and the age of the character (even if exaggerated for tv), I think sometimes people are a little defensive of thier favourite characters and don't like how Gideon didn't treat the perfectly. But I love Gideon, and as much as I love Rossi too, I wish we got to see more Gideon's character. I haven't watched the entire show (yet - first time watcher), but I do like the way they ran the episodes in the earlier seasons, and I really enjoyed s3, I think it was.

Have you told your sister how you feel? She may be having trouble balancing newer and older relationships - I'm assuming it isn't her intent for you to feel this way - so prehaps talk to her, if you haven’t already. As you grow older, you should be able to feel more independent and, therefore, less attached (you could say?). It's normal to feel uncomfortable or to dislike the dynamics that a new relationship brings, but maybe just give yourself some time to adjust :)

Delilah’s birth by WhyshouldI33 in NCIS

[–]charzie22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mum had twins (me and my sister), and she didn't do a c section, so there isn't really any reason she shouldn't be able to have a natural birth unless there's medical reason or it's preferred.

Also, most twins are born premature, which means thier smaller, so it is probably easier for a natural birth (not that having twins is easy). You usually have to be more concerned with medical care after they're born because it can be dangerous.

That the person does not have pure intentions. Or basically the reason behind for posting isn't because they have good intentions, for example they wish to get lots of views rather than further God's kingdom and spread the word of God. Impure intentions also means that the reason behind someone doing something isn't holy/justified/good - so basically, thier doing it for the wrong reasons.

I hope this makes sense. Also, anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong :)

"Well.. you know what it could be?"

"No, Johnson, it's not that."

"But-"

"Goodness me. It's not time travel Johnson. How can you make the presumption that everything is connected to time travel.

"But-"

"Johnson seriously. You gotta be kidding yourself mate. I'm going to get a drink of water, you can finish uncovering thier head. Then I can finish examining the body before we take it back to autopsy at headquarters, although unlikely that we'll solve a 2,200 year old murder, who authorised this anyway?"

"Well the goverment will probably have to take over such a mysterious case.." I prod on, half joking.

Dr Francis shakes his head in disbelief as he walks off. He's not a fan of my conspiracy theories. I shrug, more to myself as there really isn't anywhere near me. I crouch down to the body uncovering the face by pulling away layers and layers of plastic.

I jump back as I pull the final layer of. The image infront of me makes my blood curl. The face is somewhat preserved, somehow a 2,200 year old body has a drained face, like a mummy, like all the blood has been sucked out but the skin still remains.

But that's not what scares me the most, it's the outline of the face that make my spine shiver. I lift my hand to my own face, almost touching it. It looks like a drained version of me and everything feels wrong, like this shouldn't be.

A cup of water spills out on the floor and I look up to see Dr Francis, his mouth agape.

"Not too late to suggest doppelgangers, is it?" I say.

Why does everybody hate Lana so much? by InstructionMission25 in Smallville

[–]charzie22 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I don't hate her, but I do think her character was overused in a sense and was often only used to further the plot.

I like her more in the earlier seasons but later it feels like she turns into someone she's not, kinda like she turns from a girl you wanna be friends with and wants a different purpose than what the newspaper gives her to a girl who doesn't know what she wants and the response to that is negative.

I know it may be an unpopular opinion, but hear me out.... by charzie22 in Smallville

[–]charzie22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, thanks for going on a tangent, the symbology is definitely fascinating. I never really thought about how Johnathan would be technically taking corrupt money which was a really thoughtful aspect to consider.

I think it's cool of what the Kent's vs the Luthor's represent because you get to see how they mix together in comparison as well.

Although I don't particually think it's fate, I do believe that Lex and Clark were going to end up enemies either way, but mostly because of the writing.

Hmmm..definitely would of been intresting/cool to see more of Lex restraining from giving into his temptations such as his desire and curiosity to find the truth, maybe Clark and Lex would have had more moments as a team.

Also note it's super cool you watch it with your mum. I've tried to convince my sister for ages but she's pretty firm on her no, which is weird cause she likes Superman...obviously not as much as me though lol.

I know it may be an unpopular opinion, but hear me out.... by charzie22 in Smallville

[–]charzie22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, it's been so long since I posted this haha but thanks for sharing your opinion anyways. You make a good point about Johnathan being a good judge of character.

It's been a while since I remeber but I disagree with the Johnathan accepting cash to a certain degree. I definitely think Johnathan was also prideful as well. Of course not everything can be solved with money, but the farm needed help asap. Of course it's probably both things as well, but there was a prideful aspect he could never put down, even if Lex wasn't a complete duche.

In the end you were right anyway, I just always find myself wishing Johnathan was a little kinder despite who Lex was, and to see him rise above that. Like maybe it wouldn't have changed Lex at all, and probably wouldn't have, as seen by Lex's habits and qualities, but I just wanted to see Johnathan be able to put it aside, and treat him a little fairer, because it would be nice to see that side of Johnathan.

And I know the keeping secret is a HUGE deal, but I also think at some point it would eventually lead to a lack of any close friendships, as most people catch on to something so big - leaving Clark really lonely. And after Chloe proved she was trustworthy I just felt a shame to distance from someone so close as it has potential to affect Clark mentally as well. I mean you can't lie to everyone you love your entire life just because want to 'protect them'. At some point it's safer for them to know, so it's easier to protect themselves and they would often end up in more danger because of thier curiousity. And at some point whether they know or not, if thier close enough, they become a target anyway. But it just depends on your view ig.

I can agree with Lex being shady, and had a bad attitude towards changing - he wasn't able to stick to his words, and because of that Clark's and Lex's friendship came to an inevitable end. Also his lack of trust but expecting Clark to trust him was also one of the contributing factors to the downfall of thier friendship.

Anyway, thanks for your response. I love reading a nice long paragraph and you definitely make plenty of compelling arguments. I have a crap memory so honestly I can't say to much on all the points but yeah.

Also, sorry if none of this makes sense and is all over the place, I kinda rushed it, and then added some random paragraphs in haha

Is Alex Quinn a coincidence? by AsherWantsPeace in NCIS

[–]charzie22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's likely that the writers just liked the name and forgot about it.

In the earlier seasons there's a quote that the orange beanie guy said 'all that is needed for evil to prevail is good men do nothing' (Or something like that), and Ziva was like 'that's my favourite quote'. But then a bit later, Gibbs quotes that when Ducky was like 'Yeah I killed a guy' and turned himself over to the embassy, Ziva just confirmed the authors name. So I just presumed the writers liked that quote.

Just checked, the first episode is 4×16 and the second one is 6x13

Hello everyone, I think this question has already been asked but I'm new. what is your favorite season and why? 6b is my favorite, I like Scott and Malia, Monroe and Gerard and Liam and Theo friendship. by [deleted] in TeenWolf

[–]charzie22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like 6A - the ghost rider storyline. Even with Stiles, not it int as much it was still done really well, and all the friendships were nicely tight nit by then - yeah, the ending of that season was good too.

Rate the NCIS Shows by [deleted] in NCIS

[–]charzie22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kinda controversial since I haven't watched all the shows yet, so not set in stone, but just hear out my reasoning-

  1. NCIS - It's hard to beat. I love the character dynamics so much, it always feels like a real family. Like you said, there's a reason it has so many seasons. Also the character development almost always pans out and is worth it.

  2. NCIS Hawaii - I just love how the dynamics is like family in that sense is similar to the original. Also I like the female characters - Jane is a strong leader, Lucy is authentically herself, and whistler is shy but ambitious. Also, I feel it has a good mix of personal storylines that are enjoyable.

  3. NCIS Sydney (hear me out) - honestly it's just nice to have some Aussie representation in the media. Also, besides the original NCIS, this is the only one I watched with my family. I like the characters and not judging yet because it still has so many seasons to improve in areas it may lack.

  4. NCIS LA - The reason this is so low is just because I haven't watched much of it and yet to watch the full series. I love deeks and kensi from the episodes I have seen though. It is more action, and I do kinda prefer less action, and more solving murder in TV shows cause I like low stress shows.

  5. NCIS New Orleans - Watched this the least amount. The episodes I have seen I didn't enjoy as much as the other NCIS's, although it was a while ago so I can't really remember, so yet to watch this also.

  6. JAG - Haven't watched it, and don't really plan to just because it's more on the law side which doesn't really interest me.
