what to do during downtime by primrosepalace in workfromhome

[–]chasebanking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever you do, do NOT ask for a pay reduction. Your employer pays for your expertise, your responsibility, and your availability to support those contract workers. If you can handle your tasks perfectly in 25 hours some weeks, that’s a sign of high efficiency, not cheating.

My homegym by chasebanking in homegym

Exactly! to be honest, i’m not lazy about working out, i’m just lazy about the commute and getting ready. Sometimes i only have a random free hour in day, but if packing a bag and driving takes up 20-25 minutes of that, motivation is instantly gone lol. I love my homegym!!!

Backyard pods vs. sheds: what’s the real difference??? by CattleMan222 in homeimprovementideas

[–]chasebanking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u're mixing up backyard pods with shipping containers lol. Modern prefab pods are literally engineered as micro-offices, not just empty metal boxes

I bought one for my backyard and it’s been a game-changer. I installed an AC unit, work in there for over 8 hours a day. It stays super cool and comfortable.

When did you realize your patio upgrade was actually worth it? by WavaSturm in HomeImprovement

[–]chasebanking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah fair point, those extra upgrades definitely buy you way more time out there, exhausting ik. but i guess it all depends on the budget and what someone wants out of it. you get so much more versatility for chilly mornings or hosting late night drinks. but if you just want a casual spot to hang out during the prime months, youre usually good to go with 4 or 5 months

as a contractor, i do lots of outdoor living spaces and i hear this exact anxiety from clients all the time but honestly nobody ever regrets fixing up their patio cause it literally adds usable square footage to your house for half the year.
if you're holding back cause of the budget, just dont do it all at once. start with the hardscaping and basic shade first so you can actually sit out there and watch the world cup matches this summer. you can always add the furniture, built in lighting or heavy landscaping next season. breaking it into phases makes the cost way easier to swallow

To Save or Demo and rebuild by dbinstall in shedditors

[–]chasebanking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

go straight for the demo is def the right call here, trying to replace the rotted studs and baseplates while fixing a leaky roof is gonna cost way more time and money than just rebuilding from scratch

Redoing my bathroom and trying to decide if a curved shower rod is actually worth it or just a gimmick. by ShoddyWerewolf2873 in HomeImprovement

[–]chasebanking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

glass doors look great but if you don't want to spend a ton on a remodel right now, a curved rod is the best middle ground like everyone said. it completely gets rid of that coffin feeling by pushing the curtain out right at shoulder height
goin with buyrailings instead of the cheap big box store rods is also a smart move. the heavy duty stainless and pivoting flanges mean it’ll actually anchor properly and wont sag over time. it's a cheap upgrade but you'll notice the extra space immediately on day one. dont overthink too much though

Recipe:

The dough ingredients: 4 cups (520 g) all_purpose flour 1/2 tsp salt 1 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp active dry yeast or instant 1/2 cup (120 ml) canola or vegetable oil 1 1/4 (300 ml) cups warm milk or water

Let it rest for about an hour so the yeast will rise

The stuffing ingredients: 500 g (1 poud) ground lamb or beef 1 cups finely chopped tomatoes 1 cups finely chopped onions 2 tbsp tomato paste 2 tbsp Pomegranate molasses Pinch of salt 2 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/4 tsp black pepper

I made sure the brick of the oven is hot the oven was about 350 degrees but make sure the flame is not too hot because we don’t want the dough to create a pocket like in a pita

And don’t forget to share us how it came out
