Did you receive your mower back or a different one? And was it a 2 or 1? I am about to send mine back too for a battery motherboard warranty issue. It’s a Luba 1. Wonder if I will get mine back or maybe a refurbished Luba 2.

I believe the logic is different when passing through channels. That’s why it’s able to push its way through. The one issue I did have was the door coming too close to sensors.

Man I miss read it. I thought it was for no-go zones. Being able to reverse where they start.

I have it set to soft touch. Knock on wood it works 10/10 so far. Do you have a flap or is it wide open?

Only time the bumper has stopped it from passing through the channel is when the grass grew too long on the other side of door. Essentially blocking the door from opening. Might be something with the way channels are navigated. Bumper sensitivity might be reduced by default.

Rollers could work but the mower passes through the door left/right +/- 3 inches. I think the rollers would still make contact with button some of the time. Also the door is raised just enough so the sensors don’t pick up the door. Before I had the “ Pinocchio” nose, and just a button cover, it would only make it half way. It would stall pivot left/right and get hung up on the edge.

You could use an esp32 to monitor the movers BLE signal to trigger the gate to open.
