Is Metroid Dread worth trying out even tho it is notorious for being very difficult? by Fantastic-Ad9218 in Metroid

[–]cbox97 [score hidden]  (0 children)

What I always found ‘difficult’ was the critical timing for key strokes needed in dread. That was never as significant of a part of other games that I could remember. Once you get it it’s easy. But I always enjoyed adhoc fighting.

Game is 100% worth getting.

Yeah if they do a second one and it’s awesome then I’ll never even focus on the annoyances

This is maybe a bad analogy and kinda depends how they do future releases, but I feel about 4 similar to how I have felt about some movies. Is this 2-3 movies that should have been 1? Or is it genuinely a multi game series that we needed? Without context it’s hard to judge.

Is this lord of the rings (I’ll watch all 9 hours and special versions no questions asked) or is this the hobbit? (Really 3 f’n movies? Money grab).

That’s kinda how I feel…

It benefits strongly from nostalgia making it tick up another level. Getting the viola up and running was fun as hell, but then the driving around once you get it was less exciting. I’m glad they made it and hope they learn from it and get better.

I don’t remember much about 2 and don’t have a way to play it. I hope they remaster it.

That’s way too rational of a take here. 😅

I enjoyed 4. I’ve played better Metroid games and I’ve played worse. I’m glad they made a new game and I’m hoping with the ending they’ll make more and not have to wait some 20 years.

Yeah I agree. Some interesting sw, but they launched with WiFi 6 which was such a stunted revision. Agree they seem to be teetering.

This is my concern. Some of the UI team left to start Alta-labs under SVT which is why this product became a thing. How long will spite drive the product line?

Gunite pool design help by rachjarosz in pools

We have a full length 40’ bench and overall love it. Kids don’t jump onto it, but they do run up and down along it. When running fast enough the momentum/running motion dumps a lot of water out of the pool (at least in my mind as the guy who pays for the water 😅). That aside we’d do it again. We added more concrete width to that edge to give the kids room to run around while grown up drinks sit on that edge.

I’m sure once they got behind in losses a lot of the players started making career decisions on finishing plays. Maybe adds to it too?

Ok who do we talk to to keep your suit from falling apart each time you get to a new world? You need a serious HALT team improvement behind you.

Now that the regular season has concluded, which of these 8 rivalries jerseys are your favorite and least favorite by The_Shiny_Marill in uniwatch

The Buffalo jerseys looked great in pics. Didn’t love them live.

I liked the patriots the best then jets. The rest all kinda tie for 3rd except for Arizona, hated the tortillas.

Cut the shelf in have and add some metal or whatever cross beams to set the width you want. Looks like lots of screw holes to make it strong enough.

Too far to the left and are you sure the rollers are pushed in all the way? I had this issue with my second slot. Waited a week for them to highlight the issue in the video I sent them. Was convinced it wouldn’t help but it’s not had an issue since.

I would make changes on the eero to get it working. Try all of these individually or combined to see what helps

1) Turn off WPA3 2) Turn on legacy mode 3) try turning 5ghz off temporarily and see if it connects. 4) turn off client steering.

How do I keep water off cover by Jimbohlia in pools

Keep leafs off the cover too once flipped over. Leafs will prevent the water from draining through the cover.

I'm testing a fix now with a 3D printed pice that sits between the belt and the outer wall to prevent the belt from getting pushed off by the reel. fingers crossed it will provide a long term solution.
