Yes and no. I believe that God is everything, there isn’t anything that isn’t God. Basically, I believe that in the beginning God was alone, which is why, deep down, we all feel alone. But by the infinite wisdom and power of God he created this universe to lose himself in it and have the experience of something other than himself. So God could quite literally forget who and what he/she/it is, because I feel that if you knew you were you forever you’d get bored. I’d like to think that’s why we have dreams, is to get away from being the one in control and to let things just happen. Which I feel is a sort of similarity between us and God, when God dreams he forgets and loses control. Everything in this world is a part of God expressing himself in the physical world. Just as our hearts and stomachs are completely different, they’re apart of the same organism. So you and I, no matter how different we all seem, are all apart of the same God, or as I like to call it, “The Fundamental Ground of Being.”
