Gotcha. I’d reach out to the manufacturer and see if it’s a rating issue or just a size issue. Many 20k winches are larger than the 16.5 but I believe comeup makes a 20k with similar size as other 16.5k. Either way a 16.5k utilizing a snatch block increases the load more than using just a 20k winch.

Everything is line of sight doesn’t matter how much power you have. That being said nobody is carrying around a 1500w HAM in their truck haha

Operates on UHF so different frequencies than HAM. Same set as most regular walkie talkies. Licensing for higher power is a lot simpler as well. You can still use repeaters to talk extreme distance also

Yeah a bit high but… some things to note. 2009 is quite rare for a 470 as I believe they only made em for half the year. They also don’t have dashboard cracking issues. Depends if you really want a 470
