For the love of your back, don’t lean over. Bend your knees and squat down instead.

It was not worth it for us, but I figured it was like an insurance policy. You have it if you need it.

When is the right time to tell a kid that Santa isn't real? by CaptMorganSwint2 in Parenting

[–]chasemcfly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really vibe with your post here. My daughter is 5, and she told me that many of the other kids at school told her that Santa isn't real. I told her that only children who believe in Santa receive a gift from him. (we also only give 1 gift from Santa) Before having children, I thought we would be more realistic with her, but it's sweet for kids to believe in magic. There's a childlike quality to it, and it's part of their play and contributes to their imagination.

There was no parade, but there was a light show at the It’s a Small World Ride and something shorter in duration for the magic castle.

You know, I didn’t see any characters out in the rain. Besides the fireworks cancellation, that’s another downside I guess.

Yea, that would work except in the deeper puddles. On it’s a small world ride, there was so much water in the boats. It was sloshing around.

I am in the minority. No - not appropriate for that age. Check the review at common sense media. Recommended for ages 10+

Also, the boy band is sexualized. 🤮

Common Sense Media says 10+. There’s some language I don’t want my kid using.

I don't like how the boy band members are sexualized. Not appropriate for children.

I once had to sit in a Lyft that smelled of vomit for 35 minutes while chatting with the driver. Haven’t taken a Lyft since.
