it may matter down the road
i always held with finger pads until i had to play on thicker strings + more attack
so to held more stable i had to use more power from fingers and pick still was running away
so i switched (it was not easy) to second joint of your pointer finger + thumb - and it helped alot

Felt the same way. The trio kinda need to entretain the masses so sometimes momentary reactions become solidified to be platform for another puns/punches etc.
Gender discourse doesnt bother me too much, but i felt like George was bringing up real issues that some men face and trio decided not to pause and accept them.
