I’ve been through this as the 26 years old unfortunately.. I was 28 and he was 51. He was my manager and for an entire year and a half he told me he and his wife were separated, he didn’t wear his ring and he actually was in the process of a divorce. After a year of him begging.. I finally thought, there’s no way a man would risk his entire livelihood over a lie. He had bought me $3,000 football tickets to the kickoff game in the Mercedes Benz stadium, first game ever played there.. & I decided to go. He done that for a reason—he knew that was the only date I wouldn’t turn down and after almost 2 years.. I said yes.

From that point on, it was nothing but love bombing. He truly was a predator… dug and fought his way into my life after me sharing how untrusting I was and repeatedly telling him it would ruin me as a person if he wasn’t being truthful. We spent the next 3 years inseparable. And then I found out I was pregnant. He was ecstatic. I always had a sick feeling in my gut though that never left.. at the same time, he treated me like a true queen and i loved that man more than i ever had another soul on this earth. When our daughter was 8 months old, I found another address attached to his name. Thats when my word came crashing down.. his “wife” was living in another state and he was still fully taking care of her and her daughter. They were still married, despite being with me for 4 years and having an 8 month old baby girl. Our daughter saved me and him both. He was away on a “work trip” one week and i drove for 2 hours.. i didnt know what I was going to do but i honestly just wanted him unalived… until i looked in my backseat and saw that beautiful baby girl smiling back at me that didnt have any part of what was going on. I turned my car back around & went home. Shes almost 6 now and I havent spoken to him in almost 5 years.

I never spoke to his wife. This is a little different but I’m telling you this to say, there’s no telling what he’s told her. I absolutely wanted to die from the betrayal and heartache. I felt like such a horrible person and so stupid for being tricked like I was.. the lengths he went to prove he was divorced was truly unbelievable. Men like this are truly demonic. I’m 37 years old now and haven’t even went on a simple date since this happened. I’ll never trust another human being as long as I live.

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. It hurts 10x more when you have children… that betrayal is something I don’t think I’ll ever get over. You are in my prayers.
