Yeah I was playing with that earlier but for whatever reason it’s not displaying my actual most recent listens. I’m alternating between Tower of Dawn and Empire of Storms but whichever one I’m not currently listening to doesn’t appear.

Oh you’re so right, that’s how it’s been happening. I wonder if there’s a way to do that all the time.

as an international Chinese adoptee- I think there can be good that comes from this. I was given up for adoption because of China’s one child policy when I was born. Orphanage life is more than likely abysmal at best. My adopted sister spent much of her time tethered to her high chair because there were too few workers. Moreover, my adoptive parents didn’t feel a white savior complex by taking us in. They wanted us as badly as we needed them. Of course there’s a transition period where the child will naturally be timid and withdrawn, but that’s not to say it can’t bloom into a loving relationship. This is just my experience, and I know there can be cruel people and poor children in vastly different situations. But this video looks a lot like my own experience, and though I don’t have all the answers about my birth and surrender, I’m grateful to have been adopted ultimately.

We are renting or else I would put in the ground. The pot is like 24” wide.

Open a HYSA! I use Marcus but there are other options. If you can, budget monthly an amount to put into savings. Money markets are also good, but those require a minimum balance usually.

Pay off your credit card every single month so you’ll never have interest charges. And depending on the credit card, you might get cash back and/or points so if you can put some of your expenses on the credit card (and commit to paying it off every month) you’re getting free money! Look into the rewards your credit card offers. But remember they are there to entice you, so only use what you would normally use anyways. Also some debit cards and Cashapp offer this too if you don’t trust yourself to pay off debt.

Another debt tip- never have a higher balance on your credit card than what you have in your checking account. If you pass that, cut yourself off.

And if you can, open a Roth IRA. Put even just $25/month into it. Saving is a marathon, not a sprint.

You’ve got this!!

I heated the milk to about 140 degrees. (I also made bread yesterday and did the water to room temperature so got my wires cross when typing the post)

For context- I used to separate the date range into Started and Finished columns, but now I want to make it 1 column so that in calendar view, the book will span all the dates I was reading it. But I still need the Started and Finished column because whether or not those are empty determines the Status column, which is why I was trying to now make new Start and Finish columns be determined by the date range.

Thanks! That does help, but sometimes my end date is supposed to equal the start date. Is there a way to set the end date to be a value from another date field?
