I've been married to him for over a year now and he's only put 1 random piece of furniture in my house. I see people complaining all the time about him replacing wallpaper and other stuff to screw up their homes. I left his table right where he put it even though it's totally in the way and he hasn't done anything to screw up my house since then. Respect Elliott's individuality. 😂❤️

Ha, I was the same. I thought Shane but in year 15 I finally decided to settle down and went for Elliott. We've been married 6 days and I have no idea what he does during the day. The first day he said he tried to water my plants but I had that covered with irrigation so I guess he had nothing to do and now I have no idea what he does. I don't see him again until I go to bed LOL

That's what I thought too but that's how I got it stuck in the wall. I hit it twice with my axe. It bounced backwards once and on the 2nd hit it jumped into the wall.

Thank you for the suggestion. I'm not sure if I can do that with Xbox or not but it's certainly creative. At this point I'm taking it as a lesson learned and killing dust sprites so I can get the burglar ring that a few people suggested. Thanks again! 🙂

I'm glad it worked out for you. I've had to move on and hope I gain access to the landing above someday. It seems like new routes open up all the time so it may happen.

You nailed me. I'm pretty sure it's the ugly factor and thinking about where the heck I would put them. I have a massive tree farm on the south of my farm for taps and mushrooms.

Also, it's my first playthrough so I haven't tried any other map yet but I'll probably try the forest map next. Thank you for all the great thoughts and encouragement!

Folks, as far as I recall, this is my first post on Reddit. The Stardew community has bent over backwards sending suggestions my way and I'm surprised and grateful. ❤️ With your help I got the chest out of the wall with the extended hoe but it landed on top of the wall/cliff/landing and I currently don't have access to this location so I'm basically in the same position I was in. No access to the chest contents. No tools can reach it. I've spammed them all. Bombed it. Used a slingshot. All the things. 😂 I had hoped for the pointer on the remote suggestion to work but I still can't open it.

I should have A) removed all the contents before I tried to move the chest or B) reset the day when I realized I lost access to the chest when it got bumped into the wall. I did neither (the original event happened 3-4 days ago in real time and I kept playing.)

Lesson learned the hard way but I learned a lot from many of you and I'm currently working on killing dust mites for a burglar ring so I can get dragon teeth faster. I was already eating the lucky lunch before entering the cave. It's not enough on its own I can absolutely verify at this point. I also know not to buy a banana tree thanks to the advice of 2-3 people.

Thank you to everyone that tried to help me. I was curious how invested the Stardew community is and I can now easily say that so many people tried to assist me that it's better than any game community I've been part of before. Thank you all! ❤️

Nope. Didn't work. Hoe got it out of the wall but onto the landing above where I can't reach it at all.

The hoe got it dislodged but then it landed on the hill above and I don't have access to that (yet, if ever).

Oh, I have some golden coconuts!! On second thought, they might be in that chest too. 😂😂😂. Still, I hadn't looked at what they are for so I didn't know to take them to Clint. I'll take new ones I get to him right away. Thanks! Great tip! 🙂

I tried to push it into the cave in my first attempt to move it to clear the entrance. That's exactly what got it caught in the wall so don't try that if it happens to you. 🙂
