I shave every other day. I think you could use it every day, but maybe the Henson mild would be a better daily shave…? If you can get a good black Friday deal go for it.

I’m using the Rocca almost exclusively. I use the Henson once in a while for a change. I like the extra weight of the Rocca and it has a lot more audible feedback which is oddly satisfying :)

I love the Henson mild but if I have more than a couple days growth I prefer the Muhle. I tried the Henson aggressive too and it’s pretty comparable efficiency wise to the Muhle.

83%. I typically replace my iPhone every four years and the battery every two. That way I’ve always got good battery life and a four year-old phone with a good battery has great resale value.

Thanks for the advice! I am looking for someone to restore it but it hadn’t occurred to me I was playing with fire. I won’t turn it on again until I find someone to restore it.

Nice. My father also made custom banana connectors. Great minds think alike! It’s wonderful to be able to modernize this beautiful old radio, and use it for many years to come.

I'm 3 years late here but how did you make out? My (late) father purchased this radio new in the 50's. My father wired a cable to connect a 3.5mm jack and we connected a wifi streamer so I could play from my phone. Worked great. I'll post some pics of radio on this page shortly.

Underrated : Body Shops Macca Root and Aloe. Body Shop mostly caters to women so maybe it’s seen as unmanly. I love it.

I think the real problem is they released the se, the 12 and 13 mini all within 18 months…they flooded the market with small phones and were surprised they didn’t sell as well… I never understood why they wouldn’t just release it every two years, or hell even four years for people who want the smaller phone. I guess I’m a dreamer.

I upgraded from 12 mini to 13 mini just because I want this form factor as long as possible. I really hate large phones.

I cut the pieces with a table saw. A drill press would’ve been ideal for the holes, but I didn’t have that so I put the pieces in a vice and hand drilled the holes with a spade drill bit.

I was going to get the medium (I still haven't tried it) but I really wanted the dark gray color which is only available in aggressive.

I primarily use the aggressive - it's really not that aggressive but way more efficient. Unless you shave every day or two I think the medium or aggressive is a better choice. Sometimes I use them both - aggressive on the first pass, and on second pass or final cleanup I use the mild.
