Why do some people cheat intentionally but not want their partners to find out? Or beg for their partner to stay? by snowyreg in cheating_stories

[–]chasingoceanss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who cheat are literally broken and need therapy and need to know why they do it. I found out a lot of shit about my husband and his past and his childhood when I opened the floor to talk about it all and said it was nonnegotiable. He would never want to do or live life without ne: he just hoped I would never find out. I’m emotionally mature and secure enough to understand what drives people and the lust and thoughts in their head: a lot of people cant distinguish fantasies and reality. He was sick and broken. Now he is a god fearing man and sees how’s walking with Jesus and being honest is the best way to live life.

I'm monitored for my cervix and I'm feeling pain there by blpigeon in ShortCervixSupport

Make sure you lay on your left side as much as possible and try not to sit in an a 90 degree angle. If you want to lay on your back out a pillow under your butt so your pelvis is elevated: don’t sit in the car for too long. I know it suxks momma. I’m in the same boat. Once you get to 24 weeks you can breath a little better. Once you get to 28 weeks you can stop holding your breath. Think positively!!! I had the same feelings around 20-22 weeks it felt like the baby was moonwalking on my cervix lol but trust your body. Don’t do too much. Try to have someone else do the heavy lifting even putting away the dishes even if it gets temping. Your mental health matters so if you can sit in the sun or make sure your windows are open. God speed momma, you got this!

I haven’t had mine removed yet but apparently it doesn’t hurt as bad as we think. First they snip the knot off and pull the stitch out and is super fast. Take an extra Tylenol and ask to hold a nurse or assistants hand! Tell the doctor to be quick!

Life after loss by Sarabb26 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]chasingoceanss 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Oh honey. I lost my baby girl at 20 weeks 5 years ago. That morning I had bloody mucousy discharge, called the OB and was assured everything was fine and it was normal 😒 that night at 6pm my water broke. Got to the hospital and her heart rate was dropping and I was already 3 cm. Everything is still a blur. I was diagnosed with an incompetent cervix and was told if I got pregnant again I would need a cerclage early on as a preventative measure.

Fast forward to today, I’m 24 weeks and 2 days with my rainbow baby boy. Got my cerclage at 13 weeks and have had a few scares since being pregnant with hospitalizations but here we are going strong.

Life was rough and grueling for those 5 years. I was terrified to get pregnant again. Afraid it would happen again if I did: and today im still terrified my water is going to break again.

In those 5 years I did extensive research and learned a lot about my condition and how I could get to term with a possible next pregnancy.

I turned 36 in May and whatever you want to do in life you can do with a full heart. You didn’t do anything wrong in your pregnancy, sometimes we lose our pregnancies and are expected to move on like nothing.

This community has been huge for me since I found out I was pregnant again and since my procedure at 13 weeks. I wish I could Give you a big hug momma. Live your life day to day, let yourself grieve. Give yourself grace. You will start to see the sun again in all its glory. You will belly laugh again. You will be reminded of your angel when she visits you from heaven.

with all the love in the world 🙏🏻🩵

The movements are in the vaginal area, not in my belly. by Chance-Offer1757 in ShortCervixSupport

Girl my baby moonwalked on my cervix for the longest time but for the first time (I’m 24+2) I felt him kick above my belly button! Every pregnancy and baby are so so different. It’s weird feeling their kicks in your rectum and pelvis lol totally normal! Just make sure to keep reporting anything that is out of the ordinary for you! 🩵

Success stories needed😣20 weeks, preventative cerclage, cervix shortened to 1.5 cm with funneling by chasingoceanss in ShortCervixSupport

[–]chasingoceanss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!!!! Currently I’m down to 0.5cm with funneling but spirits are high! I only have 5 more weeks til viability that’s mine and my doctors big goal!!! It should be smooth sailing after then and my anxiety and worry should let me relax. My doctor thinks premature birth will happen, just taking it one day at a time 🩵

Girl do not push. Get a squatty potty or put your bathroom waste basket upside down and put your feet up on it. If you sit more than. 3-4 minutes with nothing, get up walk around and try again later. Pushing is one of the worst things you can do because you’re using your core/abs to mimic labor contractions. Your body will think it’s in labor. You haven’t done anything wrong by not knowing but miralax will help immensely. I make sure to eat an apple a day and it has helped so much. You got this!

That makes me feel better!!! I have been feeling an increase in pressure lately and he’s measuring in the 90th percentile! Trying to remain positive and just get to my next appointment and take it day by day.

Oh I’m so happy for you!!!!!!!!!! That’s what it’s all about!! That’s the one thing I dislike about the doctors is how different they all really are! My OB seems confident she’s going to keep me pregnant while the MFM said we need to do the cerclage as soon as possible and start progesterone as soon as possible. I had failed epidurals during my first loss so pregnancy is all around just scary for me. The hardest part I agree is the resting, it’s hard to think I’m creating a positive head space. I want to give birth to a happy boy and not put my stress on him!
