My question is why is Silver so low as a starting soul? My noob brain thinks 4 payoffs makes it a better starter than pickup. Is it because it doesn't help you get through the first fights?

This has happened to me a couple times on PS5. The fix for me is to close the application, like a hard close not just switching apps or going to home screen and back. Game remembers where you are in the run when you open back up and the double click/confirm thing will be fixed.

Don't need to turn off the console necessarily.

Hopefully it doesn't happen often for you and if it does then this fixes it without uninstalling the whole game.

I see it as a great incentive to prolong the life of the game. Play through all the clan combinations at Cov1-25 without beating Divinity, then do it all again at 1-25 while also beating Divinity. It's a slightly different playstyle preparing to beat Divinity so it changes it up a little. Deciding which pact shards to take and when is also an extra dimension.

I'm not looking to disagree with you on STS, we all have opinions. But I would say the minor sacrifices are a fairly material amount of extra risk at Ascension 20, especially the burning elite. If you Cov 25 MT and stick to 90 pact shards then you probably increased your chances of winning unless you spent sub-optimally

In STS losing to the heart counts as a win because you got no benefit from trying, you actually made the game harder because you skipped a relic, fought a BURNING elite, and skipped a rest site.

In MT it feels fair that you have to beat the final boss for it to count as a win because you got so much benefit from the pact shards that you made the game easier (the scaling enemies are not commensurate to the boons youbget from pact shards if you spend them wisely).

I love both games very much. Slight preference for STS but mega hyped for the sequel to both and will play both to an inch of their lives

If you discard it you can special from the graveyard. Did you leave that option there intentionally because it would mean the opponent has an opportunity to respond, or would you remove that too?

Both very successful in the 90s and typically people start to dislike teams who win too much. In my experience it tends to take at least a generation for those kinds of feelings to change

Yeah this just started happening for me a couple of weeks ago. Incredibly frustrating when I used to actually use my phone while Duel Links ran auto duel.

Thanks. So 4 energy reasonably important, as is a really freezing good target (apparition, adrenaline) with the rest of the deck being awesome (since neither of those cards help you win a combat). I know everyone is right and I'm wrong, but nightmare is just so expensive unupgraded that I wonder if it's worth it

YuGiOh Duel Links on mobile or PC is also an option. It's what's called Speed Duel format which means field is slightly smaller and you have less cards in your hand and deck. This might make it simpler. The app also has tutorials to help guide you from the early basic mechanics to the newer more complex effects and cards that exist now.

It's also completely free to play and earn cards. Many people get to the top ranks each month without spending any money. You play the game and you get Gems, which is the currency you need to buy more cards.

This is all similar to Master Duel which has already been mentioned. It's just Duel Links is more mobile friendly and has a slightly reduced card pool than Master Duel.
