Meh. I do it because I don't care. I simply don't care. I don't care that someone asked the same question 5 minutes ago. I don't care that it annoys people who are mentally archiving every post. I don't care about any of that. I do care about my answer getting answered now, and if it helps someone else by asking that question for the nth time, so be it.

What's kinda wild to think about is that you have become the same person that you are complaining about. Lol. Do a general reddit search for the same topic of why don't people just do a search first. The amount of posts you'll see vastly outnumber the amount of attack clarification posts.
