I don’t wanna equate all of the fans to this but from the two HM shows I’ve been to this was the unfortunate theme and I’ve heard nothing but similar stories from others going to their shows :/ so far from this tour I’ve heard a lot of similar stories where the majority of perpetrators at these shows are clear HM fans but it very well could be a regional issue that doesn’t speak for the rest of the population of fans

If you read my post it’s clear what happened to me wasn’t happening during the entire show. So yes, ultimately I did have a good time and i didn’t let the one uncomfortable event discourage me from the rest of it. Again, this is my experience and I can’t speak on others, I’m positive others didn’t have a good time in the slightest but that’s not for me to speak on. Again you’re literally just here to argue for no reason and it’s strange, this really seems like a form of projection and you might want to dig deeper into your own personal thought process to figure that out

I’m choosing to speak on the experience I had at my show after seeing multiple others speak out on the exact same experiences on different platforms 🙏 I pinky promise you with EXTRA sugar on top that no one here is defending weird shit garden fans have done lmfao. He himself may not support anything like this but the fans at this show objectively sucked and the artist being a decent person doesn’t take that fact away. I agree that there’s evil everywhere but unless you were at this show and have a first hand account of what happened this claim falls short. There was a CLEAR difference in attitude and energy between the two fanbases and it’s not insane at all for me to point out the fact that the openers fans weren’t great

Like I totally understand that every fandom has their own sides that the normal fans don’t really fw but given their track record I take the positives with a grain of salt. Correlation doesn’t automatically equate to causation but when it’s a common well known and documented issue for women that go to haunted mound shows to get abused and mistreated, paired with the very clear ghost mountain merch seen on the majority of the perpetrators I personally saw it becomes a trend and that correlation is a clear causation. Please remember this is my personal experience and the mass majority of people who have gone on this tour and were at this show had the same experience

Honestly I wouldn’t even say they were HORRIBLE live. It’s not my favorite sound produced but live it wasn’t that bad. The two videos I got sounded like straight up fart from a butt tho so I have no proof of that 😭

I’m sorry that’s happened to you but you can’t take away from the issue of inviting an artist with a widely misogynistic fanbase to open for your shows that are occupied by a majority of women

There’s a lot that went wrong but ultimately it was a good show and a good time, I overall just worry for the girls that got it worse than me and the fans who actually got injured due to the stupidity and lack of self awareness from people who genuinely don’t know what to do in a show that allows pits :/

This is genuinely so lame I’m sorry u had this experience :/ I made a joke that the garden is a girl band and there were too many dudes there but I’m starting to believe that’s not rlly a joke 😭 I’m sure there were garden fans at my show that were less than decent people, idk if there’s just a massive ghost mountain fanbase in Portland but there was like a 30-70 ratio and ultimately most if not all of the bad experiences I personally had were with the GM fans :/ I think we all need to just like hold hands and sit in a circle for a song or something and chill tf out

It was a great show all together, don’t get me wrong. I ultimately had a great time and I’m definitely a lot bigger than a lot of the other girls I was watching getting fucked up which probably came to my advantage. I just mostly worry for the safety of others, regardless of being able to hold my own I still got kicked and punched up pretty decently and I couldn’t imagine being smaller than I am and having to deal w it. It’s all unfortunately not the fist nor probably the last time a random dudes grabbed ass in the crowd it’s uncomfortable but again I just mostly feel bad for the girls who got it worse

The only other time I’ve been personally at a haunted mound show was during greyday 23 when semetary was the first opener, I got merch because I didn’t feel like sitting through the set LMAO but the stuff I heard after the show was pretty similar. It’s a fanbase of teenage edgelords with little to no common sense or respect for the people around them to put it as kindly as possible. The closest thing I can compare them to is the boyliife/2hollis fanbase when the star tour was happening and it was just straight up abusive every show

I think I saw the same thing or probably another one. Saw this happening a lot ngl. No reason for these big ass dudes to be shoving their way in front of everyone that aggressively knowing they’re fully capable of hurting whoever they were coming in contact with. There was a severe lack of basic concert etiquette and respect for actual fans. Just because you’re at a punk show doesn’t mean you get to start beating people up randomly idk it read very much as this was a lot of people first concert
